their knowledge and theory from their study. Many graduates are good in education but when they enter the work place, some are able to adapt to new situations but others are not. These adaptation skills cannot be learnt from their regular classes. LSPR Careers & Employability Centre creates a course, seminar, & workshop to enhance students’ abilities to adapt, to prepare them for their next brighter career. In these programs, LSPR Careers & Employability Centre collaborates with corporate partners for keynote speakers. The alumni in the corporate partner will be a good role model for students. This is the inspiration for students to be successful in their career. C.3 Schedule • Career Counselling & Mentorship Programme LSPR Careers & Employability Centre opens in working hours (Monday to Friday) for counselling of students. Mentorship Programmes are usually arranged in the middle of Even Semester for top ten students in Semester 4, 6 and 8. • Career Guidance Seminar & Workshop Career Guidance Seminar & Workshop is set in early in even semester (around February or March) and is especially for semester 8 students. C.4 Career Counselling & Mentorship Programme Career Counselling is open to all students who want to consult the LSPR Careers & Employability Centre about their future career. Mentorship Programme is for the Top Ten Students in each major and each batch. The Workshop is attended by successful alumni per major. They share with students about their career journey and success. C.5 Job Posting, Campus Hiring, Career Fair C.5.1 Job Posting This will depend on the company demand, with 2 working days process. A company that needs to hire candidates from LSPR should send the qualifications needed and the positions required. There are charges for Job postings, depending on the package and

whether distinguished as a corporate partner and non corporate partner. C.5.2 Campus Hiring This depends on the company demand and preferable in Odd semester, before graduation (September- November). The company that needs employees in large numbers, for example to open a new branch, we suggest having Campus Hiring in LSPR. The Campus Hiring is set on one day. First the company present their company profile to the alumni and the benefits in working in their company. After that some of the companies have interviews or psychological tests with the candidates, it depends on the company’s needs. Sometimes the result is announced at the end of recruitment section, but sometime the result announce later. C.5.3 Career Fair Before Graduation (November-December). Many large companies participate in this programme. In this event we provide alumni to search for a job. LSPR Careers & Employability Centre sets this event after the alumni pass their thesis defense and before graduation. This is the right time to grab the graduates because they have newly graduated and haven’t got a new job. C.5.4 Objectives • To provide alumni the chance to get a future career. • To get the best workplace for LSPR alumni through joint partnership with corporate partners. • To serve good manpower to corporate partners.
