2023 Face Of Danceaus Connect

I've had an incredibly fulfilling and eventful start to the year. It all began in Sydney, where I had the honour of attending the Elite Summer Workshop Series After this, I was selected as a senior member of Marko Panzic's Elite Dream Creative team in Sydney.

Being part of this project, not only showcased my love of dance but also allowed me to contribute to a team of incredibly talented dancers from all around Australia

At the DanceLife Unite National Championships in Sydney, I achieved some very pleasing results, I did a few new solos and then assisted with the Face of Capezio handover from 2021 and 2022. I have been incredibly fortunate to be sponsored by Capezio the past few years and am incredibly grateful. They are a very generous company and I am excited to see the new releases for this year

When I returned to Tassie I was thrilled to get a great score for my RAD Advanced 1 ballet exam after working extra hard on my ballet skills over the past year After Easter, I made a quick trip to Melbourne for the Victorian Dance Festival, and it was great catching up with friends. I was blown away by the variety of workshops on offer Highly recommended!

Shortly after, I attended the Tasmanian Dance Expo. For those who don't know, the Tasmanian Dance Expo is a series of workshops held in my home state and attracts brilliant choreographers, workshops, and opportunities. I was thrilled to win the Tassie Star Award, make the top five and I also ended up getting a very generous scholarship from LAUNCH Performing Arts Centre on the Gold Coast for 2024.

In May, I attended the Australian Musical Theatre Festival in Launceston with my dance school, House of Dance, and was honoured to be selected to do a master class with the incredible Elenoa Rokoboa and Tyran Parke, as well as work with the amazing Andrew Hallsworth Most recently, I auditioned for the Victoria State Ballet's production of "Snow Queen" and secured a spot as a featured artist in the children's guest cast I will be on next week, and I am really excited to perform

I am thrilled to be the 2023 Face of DanceAus Connect, as it is the most useful app out there for dancers to search for dance competitions and workshops around Australia I look forward to going to other dance festivals and performances throughout the year
