Who She Is: Robin studied the history of jewelry at Sotheby’s in London under some of the world’s leading authorities. From London, she moved to New York, where she enrolled in the Gemology Institute of America (GIA) and launched her career at Tiffany’s, Sotheby’s and an independently owned estate gallery. Her Fascination with Jewelry: Robin’s appreciation of jewelry evolved from a fascination with people historically adorning themselves. This, coupled with an implicit interest for rocks, gemstones, crystal structures and chemical composition, compelled Robin to become an expert in the industry.
