As a result of continued growth, TPT is seeking a highly motivated professional to join the team and take operational responsibility for the performance of TPT’s New Zealand port operations. Fundamental responsibilities for this role include; coordinating and managing the performance of the log marshalling, bio­security and stevedoring operations throughout New Zealand. As part of this role you will work with contracted key service providers to meet port and vessel loading objectives while ensuring health and safety, costs, efficiency and productivity meet industry best practice. First class management of internal and external Environmental, Health and Safety programs are crucial to the success of this role. Key Skills & Attributes Required for this Role: ­ Proven interpersonal and effective communication skills ­ To be a self starter while having the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team ­ High attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy ­ Proficient in the improvement of systems and processes ­ Previous Health & Safety management experience (ideally Level 2+) ­ Professionalism, integrity, determination and a positive outlook ­ Previous Industry experience considered; Forestry, Logistics, Manufacturing or Processing, Warehousing and Transport TPT Forests have continued to develop from its inception in 1997 and the dedicated team are committed to the ongoing growth, success and results of the organisation.
