HOT GLASS 1
Take the beauty of stained glass into the third dimension! In this class, students will learn how to create inventive works of art that experiment with traditional shapes, textures, patterns, and colors as they explore new and inventive territories in stained glass.
Focusing on developing the technical skills required to correctly manipulate glass through off-hand blowing, Hot Glass 1 is a perfect introduction of hollow work and sculpting. After learning the keys to a strong foundation, students will better understand the medium and its possibilities in art-making.

WORKING WITH SHEET GLASS
FLAMEWORKING: BEADS
Progress your skills in glass fusing! Demonstrations will showcase traditional and modern techniques as well as those requested by the class. Personal projects will be mostly self-directed, so previous enrollment in beginning sheet glass is highly suggested.
Learn to wield a torch as you melt glass on metal rods to craft your own beads! Start with the basics, students will be able to explore more complex shapes and decorative techniques in this introductory 7-week class.

STAINED GLASS: OUTSIDE THE FRAME Free your stained glass from the frame as you embrace forms in a multitude of shapes! Learn to cut and assemble glass plates, frits, noodles, and stringers to make a variety of plate and jewelry projects.
