The New Jersey Chapter of the Club Management Association of America is sincerely very grateful for the partnerships that we have created with our sponsors through our Corporate Partnership Program. As you may have heard by now, our chapter is proud to have been named CMAA Chapter of The Year for 2020 for large chapters. This auspicious award, a first for the NJ Chapter, is a honor to be shared with you, our corporate partners. Without your loyalty and support, our chapter may not have been able to accomplish the many goals which helped us to achieve Chapter of the Year. Among the many benefits that we have been able to offer as a result of our sponsors’ generosity include increases in member reimbursement for CMAA Business Management Institute (BMI) programs and two new scholarships available to members; The Karl G. Habib Scholarship which provides a mid-level NJCMA manager to further their passion and knowledge of wine by attending the BMI Food & Wine Experience and the Rita Galante Scholarship which is awarded specifically to a female manager so that may attend their first World Conference. Our Corporate Sponsorship Program has also allowed us to increase funding for our Chapter Special Interest Groups. Since the inception of the Sponsorship Program we have added a local NJ Wine Society, Young Professional Networking Group, NJ Women in Club Management, and also NJ Club Chefs. We have also introduced an Annual Past President’s Donation which has allowed the New Jersey Club Foundation to significant donations each year to local New Jersey Charities. As we finally begin to see a bright shining light at the end of this long dark tunnel that was 2020, we are all excited at the possibility of once again gathering “in person” with our fellow members and our dedicated Corporate Partners. With shutdown, mandates, restrictions, and gathering limits, we were all forced to adjust. That included our Corporate Partnership Program. Despite the inability to provide networking opportunities, our supporting sponsors remained committed to the chapter and have continued to provide financial support. Because of this, the NJ Club Foundation did not miss any obligations to our Chapter members, continuing to offer scholarships and grants to all those who needed assistance. We even offered direct COVID support to our clubs’ employee relief funds. Throughout the past year when many businesses were not able to operate and some had to close permanently, our sponsors stood up and continued to support our Chapter. As you all know, we have been unable to host the vendor show for the last two years. Dear Fellow NJ Chapter Members and Corporate Partners,
The New Jersey Chapter of the Club Management Association of America is sincerely very grateful for the partnerships that we have created with our sponsors through our Corporate Partnership Program. As you may have heard by now, our chapter is proud to have been named CMAA Chapter of The Year for 2020 for large chapters. This auspicious award, a first for the NJ Chapter, is a honor to be shared with you, our corporate partners. Without your loyalty and support, our chapter may not have been able to accomplish the many goals which helped us to achieve Chapter of the Year. Among the many benefits that we have been able to offer as a result of our sponsors’ generosity include increases in member reimbursement for CMAA Business Management Institute (BMI) programs and two new scholarships available to members; The Karl G. Habib Scholarship which provides a mid-level NJCMA manager to further their passion and knowledge of wine by attending the BMI Food & Wine Experience and the Rita Galante Scholarship which is awarded specifically to a female manager so that may attend their first World Conference. Our Corporate Sponsorship Program has also allowed us to increase funding for our Chapter Special Interest Groups. Since the inception of the Sponsorship Program we have added a local NJ Wine Society, Young Professional Networking Group, NJ Women in Club Management, and also NJ Club Chefs. We have also introduced an Annual Past President’s Donation which has allowed the New Jersey Club Foundation to significant donations each year to local New Jersey Charities. As we finally begin to see a bright shining light at the end of this long dark tunnel that was 2020, we are all excited at the possibility of once again gathering “in person” with our fellow members and our dedicated Corporate Partners. With shutdown, mandates, restrictions, and gathering limits, we were all forced to adjust. That included our Corporate Partnership Program. Despite the inability to provide networking opportunities, our supporting sponsors remained committed to the chapter and have continued to provide financial support. Because of this, the NJ Club Foundation did not miss any obligations to our Chapter members, continuing to offer scholarships and grants to all those who needed assistance. We even offered direct COVID support to our clubs’ employee relief funds. Throughout the past year when many businesses were not able to operate and some had to close permanently, our sponsors stood up and continued to support our Chapter. As you all know, we have been unable to host the vendor show for the last two years.
