In a year-end message to its members, Jodi McKay, the National Chair of the Australia India Business Council (AIBC), emphasizes that 2023 has been a remarkable year of partnerships. This sentiment is conveyed in the December edition of the AIBC Newsletter, summarizing the key highlights and achievements.

Among the noteworthy events covered in the final edition of the year is the Australia India Address in Sydney, where Senator Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, served as the keynote speaker. Additionally, the newsletter highlights the launch of AIBC's groundbreaking "First Nations Roadmap 2023-26," a historic initiative as the first-ever roadmap by a bilateral business chamber.

December also marks a poignant farewell to Manpreet Vohra, the Indian High Commissioner to Australia. Reflecting on his tenure down under, Mr. Vohra described himself as "a lucky chap in a lucky country."

The newsletter puts a spotlight on AIBC's recent engagements with visiting dignitaries from India, including Raosaheb Patil Danve, Minister of State for Mines, Coal, and Railways; Dr. Anju Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat; and Ashish Chauhan, MD & CEO of NSE India.

Adding vibrancy to the yearend wrap-up, the newsletter showcases the fabulous Diwali celebrations hosted by AIBC across various cities in Australia. The festivities provided a backdrop for discussions spanning cricket, classic cars, and a myriad of other significant topics.

As the year draws to a close, the AIBC's final newsletter for 2023 serves as a testament to the organization's commitment to fostering partnerships, celebrating achievements, and engaging with key stakeholders to further enhance the AustraliaIndia business relationship.
