India-Australia teamwork aims to empower teachers
Melbourne, July 10 (Australia India News Newsdesk)
The Australia India Institute’s education team recently visited Bengaluru to strengthen ties under the Tools for Teachers program—an innovative India-Australia initiative focused on promoting applied learning in secondary education.

The team met with several key partners including the Sambhav Foundation, AMBA, DSERT Karnataka, Global Victoria (Victorian Government), and the Australian Consulate-General in Bengaluru. These interactions focused on understanding local needs and exploring collaborative approaches to support teacher development.

The visit comes just ahead of a hybrid workshop set to take place tomorrow. The workshop will contribute to the co-creation of a practical toolkit offering effective strategies, techniques, and best practices to enhance professional development for teachers across both countries.

The initiative marks another step forward in the growing AustraliaIndia education partnership, focused on equipping educators with tools to drive meaningful learning outcomes in diverse classrooms.
