The HSV Cultural Centre will serve d1e prayer a nd spiritual needs of the Hindu commun ity and extended commu ni ty of l\'1el bourne, as well as offering facilities for community and cultural events Facilities at the centre include a multimedia library d1at will prov id e refe rences in Hindu culture an d philosoph y, classic art a nd classic language. A Museum will exhibit artefacts, paintings, photos and o ch er related multimedia, in addition to educational facilities and ve nu e space for seminars o r community flmctions The main halJ is the largest venue, which seats u p co 700 people. The dining hall can seat 300 people at a time, and also caters for events, thanks to its new i ndustrial kitchen. These facilities and spaces will be used throughout the year for the benefit of members and devotees. It will be used for weddings, educational activities, yoga sess io n s, cultural activities and to celebrate festivals w hich are an integral part of Hindu culture.
