n his radio show Mann Ki Baat aired on All India Radio on August 29, Prime Minister Modi praised Sydney Sanskrit School, acknowledging the good work
done by the school and its efforts in keeping alive the Sanskrit language in a foreign land. Sydney Sanskrit School is the first Sanskrit community language
school located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, which promotes the language of Sanskrit through fun ways. It operates from three locations currently – Liverpool, Wentworthville and Glenfield. The school was founded by dedicated and interested parents to provide a wide exposure to Sanskrit language through its ancient texts and familiarise students with the ancient knowledge of Vedas, yoga, meditation, spirituality, culture and history – apart from enabling students of all ages and background to be able to converse, read and write in the Sanskrit language. Sydney Sanskrit School is engaged in the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit in Australia. Sydney Sanskrit School was founded in 2006 under the auspices of School of Vedic Sciences (Aust) Inc. It is the first Sanskrit school established in the Southern Hemisphere with the objectives to: Impart Sanskrit learning to enable students to converse, read and write in the language Comprehend firsthand the Sanskrit literature relating to Vedas, Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality, Culture and History Enable students to appreciate the classic significance of the language, its role/influence in their own personal development, local and universal cultures.

eva Dharma Mission distributed free food on 8 September at Adra Community Centre car park in Woodridge, Brisbane. Food included fresh fruits, vegetables, breads and normal essentials. The mission has been also serving lunch in Loganlea community centre on 2nd Saturday of the month at 11.45am, and this month it was on September 11.
