Memories with Houston’s Got Bollywood Memories with Houston’s Got Bollywood Moksh Community Arts is presenting its 6th production with Naach Houston, a sparkling performance at The Miller Outdoor Theatre, on April 13th, Sat at 8:15 p.m. The event and parking are free. This year’s presentation of Houston’s Got Bollywood will feature a walk down memory lane with a “Blast from the Past” produced and directed by Ace choreographer, Artistic Director of Naach Houston & CEO of Moksh Commu-

nity Arts, Mahesh Mahbubani, with the super talented crew of Naach Houston. “Blast from the Past” is a celebration of Bollywood musical hit singles from the yesteryears and the present. The show includes over 75 dancers, foot tapping melodies, colorful costumes from Bollywood, mesmerizing lights, stunning visuals, innovative choreography all integrated to create a Magical Bollywood Theatre experience that Naach Houston has become synonymous with. The first of the four acts titled

‘Stars on 45’ features popular and Bollywood musical dance hits celebrating diversity in Bollywood, featuring an overview that promises to enthrall the audience. Act two titled “Blast From the Past” is a tribute to current and past hits from the Naach repertoire - these are dances that brought true Bollywood theater to Houston in the past years. Act Three, “Moments In Time,” puts Naach Houston’s forte into focus with a complete contemporary ensemble - a rendition of love songs embracing the full spectrum of human relationships expressed creatively in Bollywood style. The final act “Bollywood Divas,” celebrates the leading women and men of Bollywood and the iconic dance pieces that brought them global fame.
