Theresa May mentioned that the UK had led on strengthening the world fight against terrorism and slavery in this modern era and also approaching for the implementation of the Paris agreement. Trump said that he expects a trade deal with the UK to be concluded “very, very quickly” and gave his confirmation that he will be reaching to London. In 50 minute meeting between Trump and May, there was a “very good atmosphere”, in which a “significant proportion” was devoted to the trading relationship. Trump explained his lengthy conversation with Putin as a “tremendous meeting”. Putin stated that he had established a working relationship with President Trump. Terrorist Attacks Pilgrims, 7 Killed 19 Injured

Militants in Kashmir attacked a police vehicle and when the police fired back, terrorists targeted a bus and killed 7 Amarnath pilgrims and injured 19 others. Amarnath Yatra Terror Attack is the worst attack on the annual pilgrimage since 2001. This year, Amarnath Yatra is being conducted under strict security with intelligence inputs. Beside all the efforts to stop terrorism, terrorist opened fire on a bus with the pilgrims returning after visiting the holy shrine located in a narrow gorge at the end of a valley nearly 50 km from Pahalgam. Five of those killed were from Gujarat and two from Maharashtra. According to a Police sources, the bus had broken the rules of the pilgrimage which bans buses from travelling on a highway after 7 pm for security reasons.

Cont’d… Amarnath Yatra Terror Attack… Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Pained beyond words on the dastardly attack on peaceful Amarnath Yatris in J&K. The attack deserves strongest condemnation from everyone... India will never get bogged down by such cowardly attacks and the evil designs of hate." Reportedly, the bus was also not part of the official tour for the Yatra and this means that the bus was not provided with the customary police protection. It is not clear how many terrorists were there who conducted such a ruthless act. If reports are to be believed, the same terrorists had opened fire on a security checkpost just 600 metres from where the bus was attacked. The location where Amarnath Yatra Terror Attack took place was secured with worldclass security including a satellite tracking system and about 40,000 troops to guard the pilgrims and their route. The security cover for the Yatra includes soldiers from paramilitary forces, the army, the Border Security Force and the Jammu and Kashmir police.
