Ramer High School Class of 1962 The Ramer Highschool 1962 Senior Class met Friday night October 19, 2012 at the Crazy K Ranch for their 50th year Class Reunion. Thirty – one of the forty – six class members were present, eight class members are deceased. Everyone was proud that their class sponsor, Mr. & Mrs. Estell Ray Mills attended. Mr. Mills addressed the class, explaining some of the event that had transpired in the past

and some of the people involved that had paved the way for this class to have the opportunity to receive an education at Ramer Highschool. A delicious meal was provided by the Crazy K Restaurant. It was like a family reunion with everyone having stories to share. Kay ( Wardlow) Churchwell welcomed everyone and took them on a trip down memory lane, back to the 1960's. The Mt Sharon Presbyterian Church in the Gilchrist community was established on Sept. 15, 1866. The PWO was established 35 years ago with the purpose of “continual spiritual enrichment to our members and our community.” During the year our PWO funds provides meals for bereaved families in our church and community, love offerings, Christmas food baskets and many other services.

The McNairy County Board of Education will receive bids for Bleacher Replacement Project, Selmer Middle School, Selmer, TN and Adamsville Jr/Sr High School, Adamsville, TN. Bids will be received by the Construction Manager, Lashlee-Rich, Inc. at their office at 1100 West Main Street, Humboldt, TN until 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, November 20, 2012. The bids will be delivered to the Owner for their review and decision. Bids will be received on the following Bid Package: Bid Package #1 – Bleacher Replacement No bid will be received or accepted after the above specified time for receipt of bids. Such bids may be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the Bidder. Plans, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Construction Manager, Lashlee-Rich, Inc., 1100 W. Main St., Humboldt, TN 38343 and West Tennessee Plan Room, 439 Airways Blvd., Jackson, TN 38301.
