antologi Personal project, 2018

antologi is a personal project which consists of my selected poems and photographs. This project shows the way I capture all beauty of this world that I saw in my journey. Published in my Issuu profile, this project became my first zine.

Poems can also be found in my Medium page, @imegaasha.

The concept of this zine is ‘simplicity’. I designed the layout as simple as possible to emphasize the story in every words and pictures.

Green Architecture Study Module

Assigned by Mrs. Dewi Larasati, Architecture ITB Module Project, 2018

In this project, I designed only the layout. Besides, I also did some visualization of its content, such as graphic.

This book is going to be used as a study module, therefore I designed the layout to be readable. I chose green and greyish brown as the main color palettes so that students would feel ‘refreshed’ while reading every pages.

I used Adobe Indesign in this project.

“Jaka Tarub dan Lima Bidadari” October Graduation Ceremony, 2015, IMA-G ITB

“Jaka Tarub dan Lima Bidadari” is one of famous traditional folklores in Indonesia. IMA-G ITB adapted the story into a major theme of an graduation event in 2015.

In this project, I collaborated watercolor and digital media using Adobe Photoshop. Firstly, I painted the main pictures and patterns manually, then I combined it digitally with Adobe Photoshop.

I created this poster to look colorful so that people can feel the magical ambiance to represent our branding in that time.

Daily Publication Poster for IMA-G ITB, 2017, in collaboration with Gusti Cakramurti

Me and Gusti Cakramurti collaborated in creating a personal branding for IMA-G ITB. The main theme of that year (2017-2018) is “empathy towards others”. We chose yellow and warm colors as the main palette. In order to make the design considered ‘persuassive’ to others, we picked neon colors and glitch as the element in the publication contents.

Both the poster on the right side are made by me using Adobe Photoshop.

IMA-G Election 2016 Infographic Campaign team project for Gusti Pradipta, 2016

Firstly, I created the moodboard and grand design for the infographic. The chosen colors, blue and red, both represents the candidate’s missions and traits. Red represents his bold spirit and blue represents the “toughtful” soul in the candidate’s missions.

All of the infographics are made by Adobe Photoshop.

Instagram Story Template “Ngabuburit” Content for skill test for applying to Amartha, 2019

I made these templates when I applied to a company named Amartha as a intern.

I tried to elaborate a simple game as the main concept so that the design can communicate with the Instagram user.

These color schemes were inspired by main branding of Amartha, with a little touch of complementary color, orange.

I used Adobe Photoshop to crete these templates.

Kopiano Menu Layout Design Designing menu layout for Kopiano Coffee Shop, 2020 I got commissioned by a client to redesign the layout of Kopiano menu of beverages. The Client requested me to elaborate two concepts: Sweet and Young.

I tried to emphasize the sweet concept through bright and soft color schemes. Dynamic layout and wavy shapes represent the “young” concept, as requested by the client.

On this project, the client asked me to design the menu layout in two paper sizes, A3 and A4. The final designs for both version are represented on this page.

The menu are designed to help customer choose their beverage as easy as possible. The most favorite beverages can be identified by star symbol. The main menu (A3 version) also shows the procedure of how to order the beverage, helping customer who wants to customize his or her order.

Tiga Putri Hair & Make Up Studio Assigned by Putu Indah, 2019

Tiga Putri Hair & Make Up Studio is a saloon project that belongs to my friend. She asked me to design the logo in a simple form yet lovely to be looked at.

I combined a circle with a few of Bali Elements, frangipani flowers (bunga kamboja). As a beauty studio logo, I considered that pink could be the best option as the main color palette.

BIG BAKE BOX HOMEMADE COOKIES Assigned by BIG BAKE BOX.ID, 2020

BIG BAKE BOX is a homemade cookies online store that established by my friend in 2020. Bringing up “Bigger Than Your Expectation” as its slogan, the logo should be radiating the product’s energies, youth and happiness.

At first I sketched as many logos as I could. However, in order to crate a logo which represents its slogan (Bigger Than Your Expectations), I designed the logo to be looked less “square” to differ it from its name. I recommended logo number 6 and 4 to the client, then he chose number 6 to be further modified.

For the final logo, I tried to remake the biting effect on the design. Logo uses two primary colors, red and yellow, to emphasize the product’s branding. Bright colors generally represents happiness, an emotion that the client wants to create.

OLAHANIS SWEET & SAVORY Assigned by Olahanis, 2020

On 2020, I was assigned by Olahanis, a food and beverages small business that has specialties in sweet & savory. Owner’s main request was to create a simple logo yet will give sweet impression.

Firstly, I proposed moodboard and some sketches for the owner (as can be seen on the next page). The owner chose one design with flower decoration. “Sweetness” is my main concept for the logo, the font looked like a handwritten to emphasize the idea of “all products are handmade”. The floral decoration was added to strengthen “sweet impression”.

THE PROCESS The owner requested 1 main color to be applied on the logo: brown. Therefore, I studied the color schemes that revolved around brownish and warm colors.

Selected Illustrations From time to time, 2015-2020

Icons Drawing These icons are drawn by me using Adobe Illustrator. I created these icons to represent my various interests. I tried to keep them simple and easy to comprehend.

Open Apartment Diagram Illustration There was time when my office signed up for an architecture competition for Marissa Duplex Apartment. I illustrated this diagram as our main concept diagram.

As the diagram shows, the apartment design is intended to maximize air circulation within the building area.

Illustration for BIG BAKE BOX Branding & Product Packaging I was assigned by a client to do an illustration for his cookies brand’s packaging, BIG BAKE BOX Indonesia (Instagram: @bigbakebox.id). In this project, I tried to emphasize “youth” and “bold” as this product’s main energy referring to the client’s intention. By applying wavy shape and organic elements such as plants and people, this illustration is designed to be the negation of this product’s name which contains “box”.​​​​​​ Before the approved illustration, I proposed two different sketches to the client. After some comments and revisions, I collaborated various elements from those sketches into final sketch before I remade it as a vector illustration.

Illustration for The Candler Garden Branding & Product Packaging I was assigned by the client to create two simple illustrations with a different colors scheme, monochrome and pop color, for her brand new candle brand. She requested the illustrations to be a combination of random pattern and natural objects but make them simple yet eye-catching.

Some study sketches I made on Procreate App. After the client approved the sketches, I made the final illustration using Adobe Illustrator.

Icon Illustration for Kopiano I was given an opportunity to create an illustration for Kopiano Coffee Shop’s icon, Mela. Originally only has a smiley expression, the owner wants Mela to have more expressions variation. At the beginning, I tried capturing Mela as Kopiano’s signature drinks. For the final illustration, Mela ended up representing Mango Latte.

I used Adobe Illustrator for lineart and Procrate for coloring for finishing this project.

Floral Illustration for Lavender House Community Profile In early 2020, one of my family member asked me to illustrate and design the layout of her community profile called Lavender House. As a community for cancer fighters and survivors to support each other, I thought soft colors and clean design would be suitable for the community profile. Vivid colors of lavender, collaborated with one striking purple, will be displayed on the cover as a identity of Lavender House community.

Illustration for Spirit Fingers Poster Spirit Fingers is an art community initiated by my university seniors. Every Saturday or Sunday, Spirit Fingers holds an art meeting at the cafe/restaurant.

One day, I was asked to make a poster for weekly art meeting. That day was a special occasion when Spirit Fingers collaborated with Podstalgia.

I tried to show what activities that we usually do when attending an art meeting on the poster: drawing together while chatting. I wanted to emphasize “drawing freely” when created this poster by using organic brush stroke instead of the firm one.

Random Sketches Once in a while I got myself randomly sketching around with Procreate. Inspired by some pieces of songs that I listened to, I created these sketches as a practice for colors combination and image composition.

Contemporary Art Museum Architectural Visual Render Final year project, 2018

During my architecture study, I had to visualize my concept design and space into an understandable pictures. Here are some of my selected architectural visual renders from my final year project, a contemporary art museum in Sleman, DIY.

Bundaran HI Design Competition Architectural Visual Render As a part of Bagan Desain Team, 2019

Bundaran HI Design Competition was held

by Sarana Jaya. For that competition, I made some visuals renders of our main concept. The visual grand design has pop colors concept, as the main infrastructure elements are highlighted by orange color.
