This has included high profile projects in the British Isles and a presence as far afield as Hong Kong and Japan. PROMA continues to advance in the choice of models we produce in our factory in Spain: • PANEL DOORS: Traditional Colonial style to Mediterranean and Minimalist styles. Bolection profiled beads, inset beads and flat beads. • FLUSH DOORS: Veneer combinations with / without inlays. Solid timber grooves, aluminum inserts. • CPL DOORS: Choice of finishes in CPL (not foil) for hard use such as hospitals and hotels. • WHITE DOORS: In flush and panel models. SPECIFICATIONS • Solid inert core doors with solid whole perimeter 20mm lipping, tongue-grooved to the core and matching the veneer. If it's oak, everything you touch and see is oak*. *(except in certain designs) • Veneers are real wood, ranging from natural such as oak, to tainted such as grey coto. • Timber decorative grooves are also of solid timber. • Frames, architraves and skirting made and veneered by us to match, in green moisture-resistant MDF if required. • State of the art factory pre-finishing. • We manufacture to your size requirements. CERTIFICATIONS • Manufactured to AITIM-standard of quality with tests including impact, durability, tolerance, squareness and water-immersion. • PEFC Certification for sustainable production. • British Standard and European fire certification. -Factory floor area : 57.000 m2 on site of 100.000 m2 and production capacity with full shifts : 70.000 units per month. -Proma infrastructure includes production of doorleaves in natural veneers, CPL veneers and painted. Proma Mouldings, production of frames architraves and skirtings. Proma Prefininshing: Varnish lines for flush and panel doors, paint lines and assembly of doorsets. -Avant Grade Machinery inclues German (Itomag, Cefla, Josting, Friz, Itesseman), Italian (Siminpianti, Celaschi, Sergiani, Dellevedobe) and Spanish (Berriak). # SOLID INERT CORE and SOLID WOOD LIPPING : PROMA doors are solid core so will not bend and twist humidity or time, so builder can install and then NOT worry. Furthermore the door is lipped with 20mm solid timber around WHOLE perimeter and this is tongue and grooved to core. # QUALITY CONTROL : PROMA is ISO of course and our doors produced to European quality standard EN. The supervising body for normalization and certification is AENOR and our doors are tested at labs of the Spanish Wood Industry Technical Investigation Association (AITIM). PROMA doors are tested every 6 months at the official lab to ensure maintenance of standards and each week at factory lab. # HUMIDITY : We know this is an important issue in many markets but for PROMA this is an area of strength as our doors are sold and installed without problems over 2 decades in humid climates all over the world, from higher temperature humidities like in Hong Kong (our doors are in whole of famous Fairlane Tower) and Japan to cold humidity like in lreland, Scotland and Galicia (Spain). For example one of the EN tests in the lab is immersion of door leaf without varnish protection in 10mm of water for EIGHT hours and 24 hours later the door must show that dimensions are correct, there is no splitting and there is no degluing. The specific EN norms and test procedures are : UNE 56-850 and UNE803 section 35. # LOOKS : even economic door like vega 7000 range will look great because we use best, selected veneers for ALL our doors, Whether a Proma is a simple model or a complex model we only use top materials and our standard quality control. When you order factory varnished the, finish is the best on the market done on state-of-the-art machinery. # SUSTAINABLE: as green certification becomes increasingly important the house builder can indicate to buyers that Proma doors are certified as sustainable production by PEFC And for our workers we follow all strict and costly norms regarding the welfare and safety of our workers. # SERVICE: our production works like clockwork so lead times are respected and clietns products are dispatched punctually so builder can make adequate planning and avoid expenses of waiting for late shipments. So it is never reasonable or nor fair for our product to be compared to for Eastern product neither in quality nor responsible production.
