Prof. M. Edmonds MD FRCP Consultant in Diabetes, King's College Hospital, London • He developed a multi-disciplinary diabetic foot clinic in 1981, one of the first in the world. This clinic brought about a 50% reduction in major amputations in people with diabetes at King’s College Hospital.

• He recently won the Karel Bakker award at the 6th International Symposium on the Diabetic Foot in 2011 • Co-author: “A Practical Manual of Diabetic Foot Care”.

Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Dermatology and Training Program at the Roger Williams Medical Centre, Providence, Rhode Island.

Graduated from Harvard Medical School and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.

He has over 200 publications and has co-authored co authored four textbooks on wound healing.

He is a consultant for the National Institute of Health and other granting agencies, and oversees a basic science e program dedicated to wound healing and fibrosis.

He is a member of the American Dermatological Association, Society of Investigative Dermatology, American Federation of Clinical Research, American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Physicians and d the American College of Rheumatology.

Serena • MD FACS MAPWCA FACHM is the founder and CEO of the Serena Group™ medical director for SerenaGroup Medical Research™ Cambridge, MA • He is a professor at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he established a state state-of-the-art research program including development of a novel acute wound-healing wound model.

• He completed his residency in surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Centre with fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Southern Illinois University.

• He has been the lead or principal investigator in more than 45 clinical trials, including testing blood platelets, antimicrobial dressings, growth factors, top topical ical and parenteral antibiotics and bilayered cell therapy.
