Board of Advisors Tangela Campbell Tangela has a Bachelors in Business with specialization in Human Resource Management from American InterContinental University, and certifications in small business management. Most recently, she received the Elgin Area Small Business Academy Certificate and decided to put her degree to use by starting her own commercial cleaning service, Ms. T's Commercial Green Cleaning in 2016. He vision is to provide offices with a healthier working environment using all-natural chemical free products. Along with owning and operating her cleaning service, she is working on a few more business ventures to be released in 2018. She serves on the leadership team for a non-profit organization called Believe, which is dedicated to serving low income and homeless individuals; whether it’s through human services, feeding the homeless and passing out care/hygiene packages to providing resources for temporary shelters and housing.

Shemekia Copeland Shemekia is a World-Renowned Blues Singer. At the 2011 Chicago Blues Festival, the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois officially declared her to be “The New Queen of The Blues.” In 2012, she performed at the White House for President and Mrs. Obama. Afterward, Jagger, with whom she sang, sent her a bottle of champagne. She is also a three-time Grammy nominee!

Dana James For the past 30 plus years, Dana has worked in the airline industry, law, pharmaceutical industry, and currently the insurance industry, specializing in Medicare, Long-Term Care and Retirement Asset Management. Dana is also a Board Member of Legacy Reentry Foundation, NP, an organization dedicated to helping those recently released from incarceration productively reenter society. Lastly, Dana serves as an Executive Board Member of Skokie Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Tim Mahone Tim is the President and Founder of Mahone Strategies, a public affairs firm offering government relations, civic and community engagement, corporate communications, crisis communications, and public relations services. Prior to starting his firm, he served as the State Political Director for President Obama in 2008, the State Political Director for Governor Jim Doyle in 2006 and as Southeast Regional Director for Governor Jim Doyle. Tim is the Chair of the Mary Lou and Arthur F. Mahone Fund, which he created to honor the humanitarian and philanthropic legacy of his parents. He is also the Vice President, of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Foundation Board, and a member of the following organizations: Aurora Health Care Foundation Advisory Council, Kenosha Community Foundation grants committee, Marquette University Educational Opportunity Program Alumni Board, and Carthage College Advisory Committee for the Career Services and Professional Studies office. 12

Board of Advisors Sharon McNeal Sharon has administrative and legal experience that spans 18 years. She has worked for several law firms in the Chicago area in varied areas of law including family law, real estate, medical malpractice, personal injury, insurance defense and subrogation. She has also worked in the Village Manager’s Office for the Village of Maywood, as a Violent Crime Victims Coordinator for the State of Illinois, as well as for the United States Bankruptcy Court and the United States District Court, Probation Office. She graduated from Roosevelt University, in Chicago, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree, with Honors, in Paralegal Studies and earned the Lawyer’s Assistant Program Certification. She was a member of the Illinois Paralegal Association for many years. Most recently, Sharon worked as a Copy Editor on two published books.

Kassie Personette Kassie is the Managing Director of Operations for Brystra Insurance Services in Illinois. Her passion since the very beginning of her career has been working in group benefits and with individuals. She started by specializing in life insurance for her clients and quickly expanded her practice, becoming licensed and operating in over 10 states in life Insurance, health insurance, and as a licensed financial advisor. She has collaborated with large companies and has traveled throughout the U.S. to speak and educate individuals, executives, employees, and human resource teams. She also currently serves on the After School All Stars Young Professionals Board for Chicago. In her spare time Kassie follows her passion in the arts, volunteers, and works with various performers in and around the city of Chicago.

Lenita Sims Spears Lenita is an accomplished regulatory attorney, adjunct law professor and RA/QA Compliance professional with over 25 years domestic and international experience in the highly regulated medical device and pharmaceutical industry. After a long and distinguished career in leadership with several Fortune 500 companies, in 2009 she started her own consulting firm, LYS Compliance Consulting where her focus was helping small medical device companies navigate the often-cumbersome web of US FDA regulations and International standards. These include Abbott Laboratories, Phillips Medical, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, and Medtronics.

Chundria Stanback Chundria is a spirited TV Talk Show Host covering the best in entertainment, lifestyle and health & wellness. When she’s not onset of The Chundria Stanback Show, she’s running Chundria Stanback Studios, a TV/Film Production Co. offering original content. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television Production/Directing at Columbia College right in her hometown Chicago. Board of Advisors Deborah Weisenhaus As Creative Director and Artist of Art of Imagination, Deborah Weisenhaus oversees the event production process from inception to implementation, turning clients’ visions into creative, impactful and functional designs. With a Masters in Fine Art, Deborah designs with vision, creativity and functionality as the corner stones of every event.

Dr. Toni Wheatle Dr. Wheatle is a Global Brand Strategist. She spent nearly a decade designing nonprofits and managing global programs before creating global branding implementation models. She has a MBA and Doctorate of Business. She is also an international Strategist for one of the international centers founded by Richard Branson-Virgin Unite: Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship. She serves as a Strategist for the Branson Centre of EntrepreneurshipCaribbean helping business CEOs with things such as marketing new retail food production line, and expansion implementation for 3 PL - third party logistics warehousing systems. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member and a Subject Matter Expert for a university. She is formerly the Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing.

About Sharon Ringiér Sharon Ringiér is the founder of Sharon Ringiér Events, a Chicago-based Special Event & Wedding Planning company since March of 1997. She is also the co-author of Socially Smart and Savvy, a book where experts share their secrets to success. Since childhood Sharon has allowed Chicago, her hometown to continue to inspire and challenge her love for all things bridal. “I thrive on exploring never thought of possibilities and creating one of a kind experiences.” Sharon is known for her exuberant personality and can-do attitude, which has put her able to create some of the most romantic, exciting and beautiful events in Chicago. April 2013, she had the honor of receiving Wedding Industry Experts Award for both Best Event Designer and Best Wedding Planner of the Year. In 2012, Sharon was BizBash 2012 Readers Choice Finalist for Best Event Designer, Wedding Industry Experts Finalist for Best Event Designer and Finalist for Best Wedding Planner categories, as well as, receiving the WeddingWire Brides Choice Award in 2011 & 2012.
