The assessment programme All formal assessments can be found in the portfolio book and the portfolio book memorandum. The examinations will be made available separately to the approved invigilator. Additional information regarding the examination papers In each examination, you are required to complete two papers. The two papers consist of the same content but differ in intensity, cognitive demand and the nature of context. Paper 1: • 60% (±5%) of the marks at level 1 (knowing). • 35% (±5%) of the marks at level 2 (applying routine procedures in familiar contexts). • 5% (minimum) of the marks at level 3 (applying multi-step procedures in a variety of contexts). Paper 2: • 25% of the marks at level 2 (applying routine procedures in familiar contexts). • 35% of the marks at level 3 (applying multi-step procedures in a variety of contexts). • 40% of the marks at level 4 (reasoning and reflecting). Marks and time for examinations: • June Examination: 2 papers of 100 marks, 2 hours each • Preliminary Examination: 2 papers of 150 marks, 3 hours each • Final Examination: 2 papers of 150 marks, 3 hours each
