Imenco ROV Shackle The Imenco ROV operated semi-automatic shackle has rapidly established itself as the industry standard. StatoilHydro has declared that Imenco’s shackle shall be used in all splash zone related operations, due to its superior safety features, and ease of use.
ROV Shackle Our shackles range from the smallest practical size of 6.5T to the largest at 150T. The dimensions are equivalent to standard shackles of the same capacities, the pins and the opening width being the same, as are the Pad-eye dimensions, for example, a 12T standard shackle is a perfect fit to our 12T ROV operated shackle.

PULL STRAP FOR PIN RETRACTION
A W The grab ring provides easy handling and mating up with the ROV manipulator arm. The locking plate can be fitted with a “Monkey Fist” or similar arrangement for the ROV to pull on. The lock/unlock positions are clearly machine marked on the front coverplate: L and U. The Shackle body and most parts are made from High Tensile Stainless Steel;S165M. The shackle pin is made from the same high tensile steel as standard shackle pins.
