The 21-year-old’s performance in the 4-1 win over Palace made him the youngest player in Arsenal history to reach double figures for both goals and assists in a PL season, beating Cesc Fabregas’s record.

Saka topped a six-man shortlist that also included Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah and fellow Arsenal team-mate

He won after the public’s votes on the were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
