BOOK COVER SERIES WE ARE LEGION [WE ARE BOB]

I chose to redesign the covers of the "Bobiverse" book series. The series is centered around the titular Bob, a man with the misfortune of being hit by a car just after he signed up to have his head cryogenically frozen upon his death.

Bob is woken up 100 years later in a robotic brain and thrown off into the depths of space to explore the galaxy for Earth, making a clone race of himself along the way. In order to survive, the Bobs must save themselves from hostile satellites, save Earth from itself, and the whole universe from an allconsuming alien threat. Very unfortunate indeed.

In the first book, Bob needs to come to terms with his new existence and place, both on Earth and in the depths of space.

I wanted to convey the feeling of unease, isolation and depression that Bob goes through on this cover. Earth is so far away from him, and he might just be a collection of fragments of his former self.

FOR WE ARE MANY

The original Bob has found his way to a new planet with intelligent aliens, the Deltans, now emerging into their own stone age, and becomes caught up trying to keep them safe. Meanwhile, Riker, one of Bob's clones, attempts to convince what remained of humanity to put aside their differences and leave the nuclear winterstriken Earth.

Out of the three covers, this is my favorite, as I really like the silhouette of a god-like Bob overlooking Deltans lit up by firelight. I wanted to focus on how Bob Prime has found a new calling as the caretaker of the Deltan species, and his interactions with the particularly intelligent one he calls 'Archimedes,'

The all-consuming "Others" have set their sights on the whole galaxy. They know who the Bobs are, and what the Bobs are trying to do. Luckily, some of the Bobs have found something that may save the universe.

This was a difficult cover to do, since the climax of the story would be very eye-catching visually, but may spoil the book. Instead, I focused on Bob now looking up, as the galaxy may now be a bit too small for the Bobs.
