Message BY Head Teacher As 2021/22 school year comes to a close, we once again look back and reflect on our journey since the beginning of the year. On behalf of Aga Khan Nursery and Primary staff I take this opportunity to thank all students, teachers and parents for making this academic year a success. This academic year provided opportunity for the learning community to adopt new ways of life. Students and parents were engaged in various activities such as Curriculum Evenings Sessions, Student-Parents-Teacher Conferences, Student- Led Conferences and Class assemblies that enriched individual students learning journey. Dr. Taj Kardaman describes the value of parental involvement in school life by saying, “Parental involvement from an early age has significant effect on educational achievement and continues to do so into adolescence and adulthood …parents have a vital role to play in grooming successful and productive future generations.” Therefore, thank you parents for sharing your quality time with the school to support your children. This year the school succeeded in introducing STEAM-Based learning in order to empower students with various strategies to explore new and creative ways of problem solving. STEAM Based learning is an avenue for students to learn things in a more open ended way and make them applicable to real life. Students across the school get time to engage in various learning experiences in the STEAM Lab as they continue working on their grade level units of inquiry. Finally, I would also like to take this opportunity to bid a farewell to the graduating grade 6 class of 2022. We acknowledge your contribution in the story of your primary years. We believe that the memories and experience shared together will live in your hearts for a lifetime. We love you and we wish you all the best in your next step of education. Always remember to “Take pride on how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey.” Michael Josephson. I wish everyone a very restful break. Asante sana Blandina Duwe - Head Teacher Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School
MESSAGE BY DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all members of the school community for the commitment, dedication and efforts that made the 2021-2022 academic year a great success and memorable. This has been a truly successful learning journey which we enjoyed its learning adventure and the experiences. We worked collaboratively with sincere effort and achieved our goals and objectives of providing quality education to our students. We are proud of our students for the achievements and for their attitudes towards being lifelong learners. Special thanks to all parents of AKNPS for the continued support and cooperation. Having parental support and open lines of communication is an essential part of a successful and progressive school. Thank you for your trust and all that you have done to make the academic year so fulfilling. To the staff, thank you for your commitment, hard work and collaboration. Let us continue to learn and work hard in order to take our school to greater heights. To our PYP graduating class of 2021 -2022, we wish you all the best in your next learning journey and future endeavors. At this stage of your life, it is very important that you take charge of your life and make your life better for yourself, others and the environment in general. Aim high, stay focused and keep asking good and important questions.
Thomas Bernard
Deputy Head Teacher Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School
MESSAGE BY PYP COORDINATOR I congratulate every parent, student and staff member on a job remarkably done this academic year. The level of support we’ve received from parents throughout the year, the matchless level of commitment from teachers and the energy of our learners were all elements of our success. It is a beautiful feeling when we look back on all we have achieved throughout the past year. As a team, we have strived to live the mission and vision of the Aga Khan School and that of the International Baccalaureate. We have grown stronger and wiser as learners, academically, socially and emotionally. Our teaching and learning practices were taken to the next level. They were created and reviewed to expand opportunities for inquiry, skill-building, conceptual and contextual understanding, as well as personal, physical and social growth. As a team, we have guided our learners to develop and reflect the attributes of the IB learner profile and help them evolve into international-minded global citizens. The AKNPS crowned itself with the Grade 6 Exhibition, which was the manifestation of its learners’ holistic development. Throughout their journey, they investigated and collaborated as a team to develop their final presentation and wise actions. Lastly, I would like to thank our Principled CEO, Dr. Shelina Walli, our Open-minded Educational Leadership team and, our reflective teachers for all their matchless support throughout the academic year. It is my honour to be a part of the Aga Khan school community and I’m eagerly looking forward to our next academic year, a rewarding experience, and many more achievements that are yet to come. God bless each one of us!
Lynette Tripti Subaiya PYP Coordinator - Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School
MESSAGE BY Early YEARS Coordinator Another year has gone by and as I sit down to write this yearbook message and reflect upon 2021-2022 academic year, I do so with cheerful memories. Thank you to all the AKNPS community for your consistent studious efforts and engraving this year a success. I am honored to serve you all. We began the school term with enthusiasm and excitement and acquired accomplishment in academic studies, sports, music, the arts to name just a few and we are justly proud of them. Hereby, it’s pivotal to state that the focal point of all our activities was “nurturing the nature for a better future”. The students discerned that we share this planet with other living beings and we our indebted to nature for our attainments. We stressed upon reduce, reuse, recycle and discouraged the procurement of plastic water bottles. The students dug deeper into nature during their unit of inquiry – “Plants”. It helped them create connection with their extended environment and were enlightened to know as how the climate is crucial for our survival. Apart from this, we have plenty of reminiscences to include. We commemorated World Peace Day, World Teacher’s Day, United Nation’s Day, Independence Day, International Mother Language Day, Book Week, Mathematics Day, and other cultural festivities, to mention a few. Celebrations like so nurture international mindedness among students and make them achieve the global citizens’ status. The teachers were mindful to steadily groom all the Learner profile attributes among their students and molded them to be knowledgeable and reflective at the same time. “Sharing is caring” is one rule we live by and leave no stone unturned to inculcate the “caring” attribute in our young learners. My message would be incomplete without the special mention to our parent volunteers and Class Parent Committee who always made up to the commitment and spared their valuable time to invest into our students’ learning. We value your efforts and appreciate your will to serve. As a concluding note, I wish you all the best in your upcoming endeavours and let’s unanimously anticipate for the beginning of a spectacular new academic year. Cheers!
Mona Rehana Zahid Early Years Coordinator -Aga Khan Nursery School
MESSAGE BY STEAM LAB COORDINATOR We are grateful to all who have supported the school to introduce STEAM learning. We believe this initiative will enable the school to enhance its programme hence providing quality education needed for the development of individual student. STEAM learning is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Through STEAM learning, learners take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration and work through the creative process. At AKNPS STEAM learning is implemented through a number of strategies such as enhancing the teaching and learning of the STEAM-related subjects whereby learners are supported to develop a deep understanding of the concepts they learn in each subject, particularly Science and Mathematics. The school also implements STEAM learning by exposing learners to the creative process whereby learners get involved in activities that combine different elements of STEAM hence experiencing guided inquiry in which they must ask thoughtful questions, discover answers, apply what they learn and problem-solve creatively. We look forward to working collaboratively with all members of the school community for the successful implementation of the initiative. Ahmadi Bakari - STEAM Lab Coordinator Aga Khan Nursery and Primary School
Message by the ASAP Coordinator At AKPS, we believe in nurturing our young learner by focusing on practices that equip them with skills to match the global growing technology demands. We do this through well designed After School Activity Program (ASAP), aiming to enrich students with social, physical, emotional and technology growth. These activities enable students become critical thinkers, creative, communicators, collaborate well with others and build confidence and compassion within themselves. In addition to that, this program enables our students raise awareness about caring for the nature for the better future. For the after school activities to run smoothly, we have qualified instructors who play a vital role in facilitating and guiding students to develop skills in areas of their choice. The school involves parents and students in the selection of the activities, it also respects the students’ choice of after school activity, and makes follow up to see that the student enjoys and benefits from the activities provided by the instructors.
Ms. ELIAMANI NDEKIRWA SARAKIKYA After School Activity Program Coordinator Aga Khan Primary School
MESSAGE FROM ASAP COORDINATOR NURSERY The AKNS After School Activities Program provide fun ways for our students to play, learn new skills and gain fresh experiences. Activities after school don’t just keep restless students busy or entertained, our after school activities offer great developmental benefits which help our students academically and socially. We use after school activities program as a great tool for building teamwork, enhancement of strong leadership skills, developing communication skills, and critical thinkers in the community: They learn to share and appreciate each other’s talents and abilities. In after school activities students are more engaging with new friends and being in a productive environment that develop confidence and independence. At AKNS all facilitators are committed to deliver and sustain impactful outcomes, through an ongoing process of monitoring, evaluation and refinement of the activities. Thank you.
HAKIKA H. RASHID ASAP CO-ORDINATOR-AGA KHAN NURSERY.
MESSAGE FROM THE YEAR BOOK TEAM We are pleased to present this year book with the theme of “Nurture the nature for better future” which expresses the understanding of the reasons why our environment is at risk due to humans and how we can save it. We are in this age, where we need to understand the importance of nature. We forget to pay attention to the things we get for free. Just because we get them for free, we tend to take those things for granted. Some of these things include the components of nature, such as air, water, energy, and trees. As we continue to live our lives, let us distribute and take responsibility amongst everyone to understand importance and take action urgently to save nature as there is continuous degradation every moment. We need to save nature for future generations, as they are surely counting upon us. We are receiving it right now because our ancestors maintained and saved beautiful natural spots for us to see. Therefore, let us each take a pledge to protect our planet and serve as a responsible global citizen!

Wow grade 6 is finally over. It is sad because I had the best teachers and friends. When I recap on the good times we had while doing math, miss Aliya always made it fun! I will never forget her or my friends that made it so much fun too. Miss Aliya was the best and so was grade 6A.
AKPS is the best school. It is an unforgettable experience in this school. There were good days and bad days. It was an interesting journey throughout these six years in AKPS with the teachers that supported me for an exceedingly long time. Thank you Ms Blandina, Mr Bernard and all the teachers and staff for your help. I will miss you AKPS!
AKPS is the best school I have studied. The six years in AKPS were unforgettable. I had many friends in this school. All the teachers, staff, and my friends helped me to go through this journey of six years in AKPS. The exhibition in grade six was very good and had many interesting moments. I will never forget the good and challenging moments of this school. THANK YOU AND GOODBYE AKPS!!

I have been in AKPS for 6 years and saying goodbye is a lot harder than I thought, I will never forget the memories I had with each and every person, and I would like to thank all the teachers that guided me through this journey, I will miss my friends and all the teachers who have been with me, goodbye AKPS I will never forget you!
These years of PYP (primary education) were just like six chapters. There were many challenges and exciting things that happened during these years. I would really like to appreciate all my teachers and support staff who have supported me in all these six years. It was a really nice, fun, educative and interesting experience learning in such a nice school, but sadly I will have to say goodbye to AKPS. Bye AKPS!

I will never forget the experiences I got from Akps. I joined Akps in grade 5 which was pretty late but I started to understand things really fast. I am not happy because it’s almost the end of grade 6. But I'm happy I learned a lot. I was not that good at studying but I think I tried my best. Good bye Akps! I will miss you!
Bye Aga khan, I've had some good experiences. I don’t want the school to become fancier and fun without my sassy touch. I do not want to leave because I probably won’t go to my dream high school, and don’t want to stay and endure more of Mr. Gilbert's French classes. Well, little me wanted to get a puppy my mum won't let me but I still do, I also want to act. I won't miss my mom hounding me to pass my classes so bye (curtesy of the sass queen!)

I started my journey in school when I was 5 years old in grade one. These six years of my life in Aga Khan have been like a road trip full of bumps, improvement, confusion, and excitement. The best event this year was the year six exhibition. All these six years I have grown to be a better person. I have learnt how to be independent enough to stand on my own feet and to be confident when presenting in front of a large audience. Along with that, I have gained a lot of knowledge from various concepts through struggle, determination and very much support from my teachers.
Since I started grade 6 I met new people and some people are bad friends and some are good friends. When I started grade 6 I was shy but now I am confident and my best friend is called Sahil. My to best subjects are l/ART and PE. I like l/ART because I am a great storywriter and PE because I love sports and my best sport is football. In grade 6 it was nice because of exhibition and the grade 6 team. I will never forget you AKPS!
Since I started grade six I met some of my old friends in grade 5. My favorite subject is math and pe. I like math because you can know adding, subtracting, dividing and multiplying. I like pe because it helps you to get energy to stay strong and my favorite sport is football. In grade six it was nice because of exhibition. I’ll never forget you grade six!

I entered this school thinking I would fail but with the help of my amazing teachers, friends, staff members and the rest, I was able to make it. What I learnt the most was, people come and go but the memories stay. Farewell AKPS

My education in pyp was wonderful. I made new friends and had fun at the same time. I also studied for exams which were fun and educational. My pyp exhibition was the best of all in pyp years. In the exhibition, I explored new experiences and had fun. My pyp education was the most fun years and I will never forget those 6 fun years. The teachers and support staff were kind and here I am taking my next step to middle school.

I have been inspired by you akps. You have helped me throughout the years. The teachers give us the knowledge we need which is why they are so sweet and kind. Miss Aliya’s teachings are unforgettable just like her heart. I will always remember you AKPS and your help. THANK YOU.
I have been studying in AKPS for 6 years from grade 1 to grade 6 and I have enjoyed it throughout the years. I am thankful to be in Aga khan school and I do not want to leave this school. Of all grades, I liked grade 6 even though it was hard but also fun because of the exhibition. I will miss all the teachers who taught me in this school and even other teachers who did not. Byeee!

I began this adventure with zero friends and a little knowledge but I’m leaving with a lot of both. It taught me so much and I’m grateful to say so. Still, I won’t be sad because people come and go but the memories stay.
I started my journey in this school in grade 3. I think this school is amazing. In grade 6 we had this time to showcase our inquiry called (exhibition) where other schools, parents and fellow students from Aga khan came to learn from us. There were times in school I had a lot of challenges to face but with the help of Ms. Aliya and my fellow students those challenges just disappeared. I will miss my teachers and friends it's hard for me to say good bye I will never forget this amazing place.
It has been a good journey since grade one, I had a lot of kind and good teachers like Ms Aliya. The best part of grade six was the exhibition, it was fun and I enjoyed it. When we were in the middle of grade 4 covid pandemic started so we had to do online classes. When we were in the middle of grade five, we started going to school three days per week and two days online, I learnt a lot in this school and it is the best school I have ever been to. Bye AKPS! I will miss you so much!

I started my journey at AKPS in 2016 whereby I started grade one. My time at AKPS took me through a lot. I became a student council in grade 4, a moment I will never forget. In grade 5 I became an mc for exhibition a moment that made me really excited. Later in grade 6 I started exhibition. It was a long journey which made me feel many types of feelings. After it was over I was proud of myself and my group. I will miss AKPS and will never forget my journey.

All these six years in Aga khan primary were the best. I had fun in each grade, but my most favorite time was in grade five and grade six. I will really miss this school and each of the grades, in some grades we were way too naughty. The most emotional part is that, I am going to miss all my teachers more than anything. Since I have started this school, grade six was the best year from all the six years. I am really going to miss my homeroom teacher Ms. Aliya, she was the best, when we had our class assembly, she gave us ice-cream. I will miss this school and all my teachers. I will never forget AKPS. Bye.

Hi! I started my journey in this school in Grade 2. In my opinion, this school is really amazing! In Grade 6 we had this time where we showcased our learning to other schools. This Grade was tough at times but Ms. Aliya helped me. I had a fantastic time here in Aga khan with my friends and teachers. I will remember all the fun times we had like the times we went for field trips and had guest speakers. The most memorable part of this journey was when we had assembly the best item was squid game. I had a good time.
I had an amazing journey throughout my school year. I had so much fun throughout my exhibition journey .I will miss all my friends, teachers, everyone that helped me during my tough times. I will miss everyone, especially my teachers and friends. I will never forget this school.

With ups and downs encountered by us, the commitment, respect and enthusiasms among other attitudes together with learner’s profile made us where we are. In my journey through AKPS, I want to thank all my teachers from grade 1-6 for teaching me. It was really interesting and also fun. The exhibition was one of my favorite experiences and I will never forget AKPS.
ADIL ABBAS DEWJI
My journey throughout the years in AKPS had some ups and downs but I still made it to the end. If it was not for my teachers, mentors and parents I would have not finished my primary school level. Thanks to my friends who supported me, when I felt down, they always found a way to bring me up. All in all, my journey was great and I can't believe I'm leaving my lovely school. My message to all is never give up in your learning, respect each other and always be principled, PEACE!!!
Thank you teachers, parents and my friends for supporting me with whatever I needed. Though there were ups and downs but in my four years {1, 2 ,5 ,6}, I really enjoyed learning with AKPS.

I joined Aga Khan school in 2021 .I straight went to grade 6P I came from Kenya .I used to do a different system called Pearson and here I did international baccalaureate system which was interesting for me. The most challenging subject for me was unit of inquiry. With my teacher and parents I could manage to do it. Exhibition was something new for me. But I enjoyed working with my group members. I Would like to thank my teachers , my fellow students and my parents for helping me. I wish I could have joined Aga Khan school earlier.
My journey throughout the PYP program has been wonderful and amazing with lots of ups and downs but with the help of my mentors and parents, I was able to go through it all smoothly. These few years of my life here at AKPS have been and will be some of the most memorable years of my life. Here is something I would like all my junior classes to remember, it is a quote from NELSON MANDELA “education is the most powerful weapon for changing the world”.
I had a long journey of 6 years in this school and… this is the end. I will miss this school, I had a lot of good and bad times. It’s sad but sometimes moving on in life starts with goodbye!

NADIA NAEEM There is a universal truth we all have to face whether we want to or not, everything eventually ends. I will definitely miss this school, mostly the teachers. Good friends never say goodbye, they simply say see you soon. Education is a passport to the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for today.

I have had an amazing year in Aga khan primary school, especially grade 6 was the best. I had amazing friends, an amazing teacher and we did the best activities in class. The PYP exhibition was like a really fun roller coaster with mentors and group members even though I had a tough time cooperating with my group members, it was worth it but one thing I didn’t enjoy about exhibition was that for the last two weeks we would spend all day on exhibition either researching, writing or mounting our work on our stalls because of this we wouldn’t learn any other subjects except exhibition. Overall I would like to thank all my teachers and mentors.
AALIYAH SALEH
This year in grade six I have found it wonderful. I did learn a lot in grade six, I learnt a lot of skills in math, language arts and other subjects. I have got to know my weaknesses and my strengths throughout this year. I am following my IB learner profiles day by day. I learnt how to be responsible and independent, I’ve also learnt to develop on working as a team. I have learnt to respect my friends, teachers and staff. Credits to my classroom teacher (Mr. Justin) and other teachers in grade six up to grade one. Thanks AKPS for the support through my grade six journey.
AAMIR KASSAM
I will miss AKPS so much because of all the memories I had, the teachers, exhibition and all the jokes my friends and I had together. Knowing that some of my friends won’t be with me and that makes it harder to leave this school but that’s how life is innit. farewell AKPS.
Grade 6S FAREWELL MESSAGES 2021-2022
All I want to say is thank you AKPS for helping me reach where I am today. I had a lot of good times and bad times in this school. I still really need to improve in my talking because I talk too much. My homeroom teachers since grade 1 have helped me a lot for these 6 years and I thank them for again helping me reach where I am today so THANK YOU AKPS FOR EVERYTHING.
ALI DINANI I joined AKPS in 2020 in grade 5, but I enjoyed my 2-year journey in AKPS. I enjoyed my journey from grade 5 to 6. At first I doubted myself because I transferred from a Cambridge school to an IB school. I thought I was lower than everyone, but all the teachers helped me prove myself wrong I want to thank my homeroom teachers Mr. Justin and Mr. Edward the most, because they were there for me at my worst and best times. I remember I started grade 6 yesterday now I’m graduating. THANK YOU AKPS FOR EVERYTHING
AMARISSA KYARA
AARON SEVERE Grade six was outstanding. I learnt a lot of skills and how to follow the IB learner profile. I have improved in my weak areas and self-management. I have learnt how to be independent, responsible and never give up. I learnt how to work as a team and developed on voice, ownership and choice (agency). I have learnt many ways and methods that helped me in this journey. I have also met many friends that helped me in my learning. Thanks to Mr. Justin and many other teachers that helped me throughout this year of grade six.
ALI PARPIA During this journey, from Grade 1 to 6, there were times when I was happy, I was praised by people and there were times when I was blamed for things. However, I am now satisfied with what I am. During this process, if I had purposely or by mistake, hurt anyone or their feelings, I apologize from my heart. Moreover, I thank all the people who helped me in anything. I also thank all my teachers for all the help and support from them. To be honest, I will truly miss all my friends and teachers when I move to secondary school.
ARSH PARPIA
It has been a long journey, that has had its ups and downs but for me it has been fun. I think the thing I learnt the most over these years is reflection, it has actually started to become a part of me and I have become very good at it. I also learned how different teachers have different teaching styles. Some of them might be hard, but to have fun in their classes you have to adapt to their styles. I had so much fun especially in UOI. I don’t like all the things in the school, but all in all this is my school, unfortunately I have to say goodbye.
During my journey from grade1 to grade 6 I have learnt a lot. I have faced and overcome challenges with the support of the teachers and staff. I have developed many skills in many subjects which I will use in the future and which will help me a lot in my future. Overall I think that my journey from grade1 to grade6 was quite memorable and has prepared me for life and further studies.

I would just like to say goodbye AKPS you have brought me a lot of chaos and success. I know sometimes I would stress out the teachers that have known about my diabetes. I would just like to say that you have kept me going to not stop checking my blood sugars and motivated me to never give up.

JULIUS MISSOKIA During this journey I am really proud of myself because it made me who I am now. I really want to thank AKPS. I really enjoyed with my friends and I hope some of my friends will continue to Mizzima with me so I could at least have fun with them and enjoying with them. I am really proud of myself because I finished my exhibition and it was really fun because I was able to communicate with my group and make them laugh and feel happy. My sisters were really proud of me because I finished my exhibition well. I just want to thank AKPS.
MALIK NASSORO
During this journey from grade 3 to 6, the journey was good. We learnt math, Lang/arts, U.O.I and other subjects. This school has helped me with a lot of things throughout this journey. My exhibition journey was good, so was my group members. I thank all my teachers for all the help and support from them. THANK YOU!!!
HASNAIN OSMAN I learnt so many things in grade six, how to develop different skills and how to work as a team. I also learnt things that I never knew. I got to know my weakness and strength areas that I need to improve on. I leant to be independent not depending on others. Grade 6 is not so easy to pass, you pass through a lot and of couse learn something from all I knew this is a way to make us all independent trust in yourself and just do it.
KELVIN WASHIMA This year of grade 6 was the best year throughout all the other years. Through this year I got to know my weakness and my strong areas. Through this year I got to know how to be responsible and independent. I got to know that I am good at research skills and social skills. This year I got to learn how to use the IB learner profile and how to develop voice, ownership, choice. Thank you to all the people who helped me throughout this year and helped me improve.
MAYUR CHUDASAMA
I have truly enjoyed the years with all my teachers that taught me through out. I am truly thank full to all my teachers for making me go this far. I am also very thankful to have supporting friends which helped me throughout this journey! In grade six, to be honest it was hard and when exhibition came it was tough but I have learnt through my teachers (mentors). I am thankful for the specialists; they have taught me other things apart from homeroom lessons. Once again I am so thankful to my parents and family on supporting me throughout this long journey. I will never forget this amazing moment that all of you have given me. I thank God for making me come this far and hope for the best in the future
Time flies so fast! It feels like yesterday I joined grade one. I really enjoyed my journey in this school, and I will miss it terribly. Thanks to all my teachers who helped and supported me all these years. I really improved in my subjects thanks to my amazing teachers. I met all my amazing friends in this school. All the teachers in this school helped me and other students to become better people and to treat people with respect. I am wishing the next grade 6 a very good luck! Bye!
The first day of grade six was not that good because I wasn’t having many friends after like three months I made some new friends. The teachers were good in grade 5 and even in grade 6 teachers are good. I was having problems in English in grade 5 and 6. Mr Martin and Mr Justin helped me a lot in improving my English. I have even learnt many things in math, Kiswahili , French and U.O.I . I think I am open-minded. Thank you whole Aga khan, Mr. Bernard, Ms. Blandina, Ms. Leenat and Mr. Bakari for helping me.

Wow! What a year it was! I have learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Throughout the whole grade six year I have learnt to cooperate and support with my peers. The PYP EXHIBITION was a huge part of the whole year. I have developed research skills during the exhibition research and also managed my time to complete the work at time with good quality. I would also like to appreciate all the teachers all their time and skills to make sure our work is perfect and creative.
This grade 6 year was a wonderful year throughout. Our teacher who was very supportive in this journey, I personally thank you for helping us in this year. It has been a really long journey that has ups and downs since grade 1 up to grade 6, for me it has been fun I think the thing I learnt the most over these years is reflection, it has come to my mind that I’m okay at it. I also learned how different teachers have different teaching styles for example; Mr. Justin he has taught me to be honorable and be a reflective PYP student. Some of them might be hard, but to have fun in their classes you have to adapt to their styles.
This grade six year was one of the most epic year I have had throughout the whole time since I joined Aga khan. Exhibition was just “sheeeesh” good. The units and all other stuff was decent. I learnt a lot of stuff in this year of grade six. I really don’t regret why I joined Aga khan. I have improved on a lot of stuff throughout this journey of grade six. I got to know all my weak sides and all my strong sides throughout this year. In my class my teacher taught me a lot. THANK YOU!

During this journey from grade 1 to 6. A lot of people from the AKNPS staff helped me when I was going through my hard time. When I first joined this school I thought it was going to be a bad school but it was my 2nd home. I also thank every friend that helped me. They are times when I was blamed and there were times when I was happy. Goodbye AKPS!

Grade 6S FAREWELL MESSAGES 2021-2022
My journey in this school was something no one can think of. I had lots of fun and I had sad, happy, and comedy times. I had times when I needed help and I had support from teachers and my fellow students. I always will think of all the people who supported me throughout my learning times here in AGA KHAN PRIMARY SCHOOL every day because I will be successful one day because of what they have taught me. There is this saying from MALCOLM X, EDUCATION IS THE PASSPORT TOWARDS THE FUTURE, FOR TOMORROW BELONGS TO THOSE WHO PREPARE FOR IT TODAY.
SURYA LAKSHMI SAHITI AKELLA
It has been a very long PYP journey of 6 years doing inquiry into different units. Through this journey of 6 years into PYP inquiring/learning I have discovered many things that help me to be a good member of the society like expressing myself (How we express ourselves) helped me make actions towards issues which benefits the community. Although I had some challenges I was able to overcome them with the help of teachers so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers that leaded me in this PYP journey. ADIOS AMIGOS
THAINEY BASIMAKI This school has made a big change to my life, I remember hating mathematics and being weak in it, but now I am so good and I actually like math. I know I haven’t joined AKPS since grade one, but I do thank God that I joined not too late but in grade 2. I did suffer a lot when I had to do an activity that I didn’t know, but then now I know that it was worth it. So I just want to say thank you for treating me well and making me understand that learning is fun. Farewell AKPS, it has been a great journey.
Zaidham Bhanji
I want to say thank you to Aga Khan for guiding me throughout my learning from kindergarten until grade 6. This school has helped me with a lot of things throughout this journey. This school has shown me how to develop agency, IB learner profiles, key concepts and approaches to learning. I learnt that school is important in many different ways. If I were to go back and change something I would pay more attention in the class so I could learn more things. The teachers would always give me a second or tenth chance to do better. I am very thankful. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for them.
TAVIS CARVALHO This is to all my AKPS members to my teachers and my fellow students. I had a really good journey with you all and I apologize if I did anything wrong. Thanks to all my teachers for helping me, make me have a better future and a better life and you made me feel like AKPS is my home. I really appreciate what you did for me and I will always remember AKPS in my whole life. THANK YOU AKPS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT IN MAKING ME LEARN!
WALLI KASH
In these academic years I have learnt a lot and enjoyed the company of my teachers, my supporting friends, and my helpful parents. Without them I do not know what I would have done throughout this journey. Grade 6 was not a big challenge for me, it was actually a goal that I think I have achieved quite well. There were many things to learn in the first term of grade 6, lots of added information collected in UOI, learnt new ways to solve problems in Math and learnt many new vocabularies in English. Term 2 of grade 6 was mostly exhibition, I was worried on how I would do in exhibition, but my group was incredibly supportive and my journey was smooth. Moreover, it all worked very well. Thank you!!!!
