EXPANDING OPPORTUNITY, ENRICHING COMMUNITY

The Medina County Career Center (MCCC) continues to deliver on its mission: giving students—from high school to adult education—a competitive edge in both the workforce and higher education through premier career-technical programs and strong academics.

Earlier this year, MCCC took a major step forward with the construction of a state-of-the-art fire tower for the Firefighter | EMT program. “This tower increases training opportunities for all levels of firefighters in a safer, more controlled environment,” says instructor Dave Yorko. The tower will also serve local fire departments through Adult Education | OTC, further strengthening ties between MCCC and the community it serves.

Other programs are also seeing exciting upgrades. In August, the Vision Care program unveiled a modernized lab and dispensary, now located in a more visible and accessible part of the building, enhancing community services through the Bright Eyedeas Vision Clinic.

Meanwhile, MCCC’s Adult Education | OTC is undergoing a dynamic transformation. In August 2025, first responder and medical programs moved to the newly renovated South Campus, featuring state-of-the-art labs, expanded classrooms, and community-centered spaces. On the horizon: a new LPN program coming soon!

With each initiative, MCCC continues to deliver on its promise: providing premier, career-focused education while strengthening community ties. The future is bright—MCCC is on the move.
