The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America® (OSDIA) is proud to announce that Matt Rossetto has agreed to accept the appointment as our new Government Affairs Liaison.

Matt is a government affairs professional with over a decade of experience and a specialty in health policy, with a specific focus on oral health. He currently works for the American Dental Association. His career includes prior stints as a director of government affairs for a statebased trade association, and as a senior staffer in the Wisconsin State Legislature, as well as significant campaign and political experience. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area and current Florida resident, Matt is a 2012 graduate of Marquette University who enjoys hunting, fishing, and skiing in his off time.

Nell’ ambito delle celebrazioni per il centesimo anniversario dell’Aeronautica Militare,si svolgeranno il primo di Maggio alle ore 18.00 presso l’Auditorium di Storia ed Arte dell’ Universita’ di Dallas, una serie di presentazioni sul contributo dell’Italia e degli Italiani nell’Aviazione, e le parti salienti che hanno contraddistinto l’Aeronautica Militare nel corso dei primi 100 anni, grazie alla partecipazione di Ufficiali dell’Arma Azzurra.

Post #15 is more than just a community service organization; it’s a pillar of support for veterans, local parishes, organizations, and the neighborhood. Located on “The Hill,” the original charter of the post dates back to 1926 and was rechartered on May 14, 1946, as “Rollo-Calcaterra Post #15” when the post was renamed to honor Emilio Rollo and Angelo Calcaterra.
As a 501c organization, their commitment to giving back to the community is unwavering. Through their various initiatives and outreach programs, Post #15 is dedicated to making a positive impact and improving the lives of veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces, and their families.
Armed Forces Day is the third Saturday of May, and this year you can honor this day by becoming more involved in Post #15. Italy’s Population Declining & How To Help

Italy has been facing a decline in its population in recent years. According to the latest data, Italy’s population dropped by about 400,000 people in 2020 alone. The country’s low birth rate and aging population are some of the main factors contributing to this decline.
The government has taken various measures to address the issue, such as offering incentives for couples to have more children and welcoming immigrants to boost the population. However, these efforts may take time to show significant results.
It is natural to feel helpless in a situation like this, but there are steps we can take, as an Italian American community, to help! Italian Americans can take initiative
