INTRODUCIONAL Greetings Traveller, I’m Viktor Koch a 25 years old freelancer junior graphic designer, illustrator of Neonmob, collector of shells and stones, father of two games, the arc watcher of concept art and games, also the collector of titles. Besides that I’m an always and over thinking person who love series, films, games, city walks and hiking, I must add I like them when I have time for them. I usually drain time from my workout or sleeping time to achive everything I want in a single day. Here at this small book I’m happy to present a collection of my works, projects. I want to thank my friends and teachers for the help they provided.

LOVASSY WINE LABEL DESIGN I took part in a project where we designed a label. I designed a label with the use of my own wild paintings. As a free time activity I love to paint abstract pictures where the colors and shapes are the dominant and the story tellers. I combined these paintings with the LOVASSY logo to make a perfect label for the art collection they are making.

Also this project had a part where I could suggest a redesign for the existing label, where I took the shape of the coat of arms and placed the logo inside to create a classic look with some fresh colors. Showing an elegant but still up to date exterior.

BRI COLLECTION Here is a selection of my school projects. Tokaj is well known place of Hungary because the most delicious wine is being made here, and we created a new branding for it. I used the coat of arms of the city wehere you can see two mountain and a cross on the top of it.
Memento park is a place where hungarians collected the statues of the comunism era. It is an open aired museum; such as huge red stars and geometric huge statues. For this park I created a logo.

SELF BRANDING Hardest part is finding an emblem for yourself. First you must find what you would like to communicate, then a way to create a shape for it. Well I wanted to be serious and so on but again, it didn’t work. I went on with this form, which is a fun in one hand but in other those who don’t know me might see a crown in this logo. While at the name card, the main aim was to be playful without colors. So I choose one of my favourite games; the word finder.

CSIKÉRIA HARVEST FESTIVAL At this project I had no guidelines, so I made up some. First it must be a simple design but still respect the tradition. For the simple part I choose three sign to communicate the essence of the festival. Than at the poster I choose the continous wheat pattern to remind the traditional wall painting of Csikéria, and a simple wheat collecting figure.

MME ILLUSTRATION “stylization was my call to follow�
There is a fresh calling to create two illustration for the two famous and protected bird of Hungary. MME (Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society) wanted some kind of stylization with the illustrations, because they will be screen printed on linen bags, which I keep in mind during all the time, making the illustration easy to print. So it was high time for fun and also to create some recognizable little creatures. The sketches were drawn by hand, and later I digitalized the final ones.
I also worked on the color theme to be nice and harmonic, but still reamin true to the animals and the place they live in. So I chose three warm colors to represent the ‘puszta’.

BOLOGNA CHILDREN’S BOOKS FAIR There is a competition every year for the world of illustrators to create some short of illustration with their best knowledge or best style. Here you can choose from fiction and non-fiction, I chose to create in between. At the sketching part I decided to go with a simple and honest form and I reduced the color palette too.
 I fall in love with this style, so I created a booklet showing the fake animals for the public. The animals were created by combining random animal names. Such as the VARANOG which is a half varainus and half dog. So the outcome was only the matter of fantasy or mood. With this method all the creatures became honestly unique.Â

GAME
ENCRYPT BOARD GAME This project’s every part is being made by me. I created a game based on a new writing system which I made up. This system use the central of the shape to create meanings and it only uses three diferent basic shape to achive it.
With the help of the shapes it can create more meanings; lava, earth, brush (tree + small), dessert (hot + earth), mountain, gravity (earth + power), etc... It adds new understanding by each new shape it itroduces, in each new place it can occupy. And as a playing card I used the following technique, to make words:
The game based on the understanding of the alien species and how to communicate with them. As a team you need to decode the other team’s messsage. There is also some other cards, mission cards, which are needed to play, and for them I didn’t choose illustration not to misslead the attention. The figure at right is showing the two playing side and their turns.
