School Trips At this school we reward are students we let them go on a school trip every half term if they have a good attendance at the end of the year. Last year people went to Alton Towers. We also have one at the end of each term where they can go to the cinema or go bowling just for having a good attendance.

Canteen and lunch time.

At lunch time we can Hang around the school indoor or outdoor. The canteen is open for everyone to get some food or drinks. The staff had a very good year and in return they won an award for the best canteen in Derbyshire. There is also a school team for most sports on for girls and boys so you can go to practise at lunch. Most students like to either go to the canteen for food or go to the courts to play football or sit with their friends.

Physical Education

PE is very popular at our school and we have achieved a lot in sport in all year groups. Last year our year 9 and 10 reached the final of the national athletics competition. Only two other schools that weren't private schools were there. We also have very good equipment so our students can practise every sport or every event in athletics. We know physical education is very popular and also very important so we give our students lots of time to do it. We let them have at least three hours of physical education a week and we also run clubs at lunch so they can practise whatever sport they want.
