FAVORITE EXPERIENCE “My favorite experience studying abroad was spending my birthday in Japan last summer. I hung out with some friends I made there. We went to Asakusa and then Yokohama, where I got to see some popular sites and go to a small amusement park. I had so much fun

and I couldn’t believe I spent one of my birthdays in Japan!”
“My breakthrough moment would be freshman. I helped coordinate a cultural event in which a group from Louisiana shared our New Orleans culture and experience. We managed to bring a Mardi Gras King Cake and decorations, and worked with the dinning staff to make some popular New Orleans cuisine. I think that was still one of the best ways I got involved on campus.”
UP NEXT “After I graduate, I plan to join the AmeriCorps Vista program. I would love to work either in Chicago or New Orleans. Afterwards, I hope to attend graduate school and pursue a master’s degree in a
