Joel Brigham ’04 and Amy Reeley ’06 met at a friend’s place, known then as The Guitar House. They both were dating someone else at the time, but over the course of the coming months, friendship slowly blossomed into romance. Joel and Amy loved it all—walks on the quad, dinner at Tommy’s, shows at Hansen, even dropping Amy off and picking her up from work at The Ames Library. They married on June 12, 2008 in Bloomington, IL. Kyle Brigham ’06, Dale Coerper ’04, Craig Bingaman ’07, Kevin Clark, Steve Schilsky ’03, Amanda Jo Reeley-Shilsky ’03, Stephanie Olsen-McHugh ’06, and Anne Gilmore ’06 attended the wedding. Currently, Joel and Amy are both teachers. Amy is a fourth-grade teacher at Oakdale Elementary in Normal, IL; and Joel teaches high school English at Olympia High School in Stanford, IL.
