Trekking alle cascate di Dante
Un bel percorso alla scoperta dell’Acquacheta cantata nella Divina Commedia
Percorrendo la Statale n.67 e superato San Godenzo, si sale verso il passo del Muraglione dove, passato Cavallino sulla sinistra si segue una strada sterrata fino alla Colla della Maestà. Giunti in località Crocione (979 m) si prosegue dritti fino al bivio di Monte Sinaia dove si sale a destra. Passato un piccolo poggio (1009 m) si deve svoltare nettamente a sinistra. Qui si imbocca un sentiero leggermente in discesa per poi proseguire a sinistra inoltrandosi in un bosco di faggi. Il sentiero, che scende gradualmente, porta ad un rudere denominato Sodaccio (765 m) dove si scende rapidamente fino a trovarsi ai Romiti (720 m), poco sopra la Cascata dell’Acquacheta.Tempo di percorrenza: 2 ore (andata)Dislivello: 130 m Difficoltà: Percorso facile molto suggestivo. Following the state road SS n. 67, go pass the town of San Godenzo up towards the Muraglione Pass. After Cavallino take the unpaved road towards the left until reaching Colla della Maestà. Proceed until Crocione (979 m) then continue straight until the intersection for Monte Sinaia where the road goes uphill to the right. After passing a small hill (1009 m) take a sharp left. Here the trail descends slightly then goes to the left ending up in a woods of beech trees. There is a gradual descent until arriving at an old farmhouse called Sodaccio (765 m). At this point the trail descends quickly until reaching Romiti (720 m) just a little above the waterfalls of Acquacheta.Time: 2 hours (one way) Drop: 130 m Difficulty: Easy. Beautiful views. Requires attention to the signs along the trail.
