SLKids interactive systems can enhance the play experience available in any venue. When combined with a balanced mix of SLKids play modules, play wheel and play systems, children’s areas featuring interactive elements will encourage a broader age range of users and diverse social play and interaction. We have a range of solutions to appeal to children of all ages, based on two main categories of technology:

Playtouch® Touch Screen Software

Our Playtouch® software is designed for use by pre-school, school age and early teenage children. It features a range of games all of which have 3 difficulty levels, enabling kids from young to old to challenge and enjoy themselves. We also find that toddlers enjoy the experience of manipulating the objects on screen, recognising cause and affect and being stimulated by the colours, graphics and sound. This remains true even if they have not yet developed the skills to play games in the manner in which we intended! All our Playtouch® solutions run on fan less, solid state, embedded PC’s, giving the highest levels of stability and reliability.

Standard Console Technology

These items are aimed at school age and early teenage children who consider technology a natural part of play. They are based on either standard Play Station 2, Play Station 3 or Xbox consoles and the game can therefore be chosen from a huge library. All console hardware is standard UK specification and is therefore compatible with any UK releases. There are extensive catalogues of games available for each console and we are happy to offer advice as to the most suitable console solution for a given project or target age range. Please call us to discuss your requirements.
