Cultivate | Event In Review Cultivate was a night to celebrate our growing interior design community and design culture in Oklahoma City. It was a chance to recognize our design community as a whole. It was also a chance to recognize and thank those who have given time to IIDA, and share with our community new programs that have been added to our agenda during the past year as well as events we are in the process of planning. When and why did you join IIDA? This opportunity came to me, as this is my first year with IIDA! I am looking forward to the educational (CEU) aspect of the membership. What is the best part of your job? Connecting with and understanding clients. Who is your favorite design icon? & Why? This is a tough question, but I would have to say Phillip Johnson. He had a great sense of humor and lived with no fear.

What inspires you? A brisk sunny day with a cool breeze. Tips for taking the NCIDQ. Forget everything you have learned post-graduation. Share an AutoCAD or Revit command that you find super helpful. My favorite AutoCAD command is “MA” (match properties).
