Charity Benefit "Crawfish Boil"

Thank you to all 200+ of you, who came to enjoy the beautiful Saturday for the 30th Annual Crawfish Boil. We had a new venue, Powder Keg, and a new crawfish supplier and I heard nothing but good things about both. Thanks to all of you who supplied silent auction items. Thanks to those that bid on them and all the folks that bought liquor wagon tickets. All that money will go to our three charities at the end of the year, and I know that they will really appreciate them. Again, this year, one of the highlights of the day are the Crawfish races. Some of our crawfish must have gotten some extra spice before the race because some were much more ready to race than others. I think that my crawfish laid in the middle of the circle on his back! Oh well, it was all for charity. It goes without saying that we couldn’t do this without our many volunteers. So, thank you to all that made this day a fun one with lots of food, drink, and comradery! See you next year!
