Sistema Cut-Off with small body delivers a global solution to the issue of energy saving, while contributing to climate protection. A single solution encompasses three different functions without the need

High-performing optics The innovative street optic with Rx7s double socket sodium or metal halide lamp achieves a distance between the fittings 4 times higher than the height, using approximately 5 luminaires less per Km compared to a traditional sodium fitting.

for external control systems: • High-performing optics • Bi-Energy, adjustment of light levels without external control system • Use of twilight photocell

The example refers to a street with ME3b lighting class, 7m width and two lanes, with fittings installed every 40 m in 9m high poles.

By combining the three functions, you can obtain: Energy saving and reduction of CO2 emission in the atmosphere with use of Cut Off with small body 150W Rx7s sodium lamp, compared to a traditional product with same wattage. Data refers to 1Km of ME3b street.

Twilight photocell Although it is often neglected, the correct switch-on of lighting installations is an important factor in terms of energy saving. The use of the twilight photocell allows for switching on the lamp when the light goes below a certain threshold value, by taking full advantage of the twilight.

Summer use cycle: approx. 10-hour continuous operation

The number in the “CO2 Absorption” symbol corresponds to the number of trees that would be necessary to absorb the amount of saved CO2 if it was introduced in the atmosphere.
