Este libro recoge las experiencias del workshop “Prácticas Alternativas: La Ciudad” desarrollado en IE University en Segovia entre el 12 y el 30 de noviembre de 2012. Durante tres semanas, 21 alumnos organizados en seis grupos se sumergieron en comprender el casco antiguo de Segovia como espacio habitado, como barrio. El proyecto ha sido un intento por articular las herramientas del urbanismo a la escala de la mirada de los habitantes de la ciudad.
This book documents the experiences of the wokshop “Alternative Practices: The City” developed at IE University in Segovia between the 12th and the 30th of November of 2012. For three weeks, 21 students organized in six groups were immersed in understanding the walled city of Segovia as inhabited space, as a neighborhood. The project has been an attempt to articulate the tools of urbanism at the scale of the view of the inhabitants of the city.
