SKIING
Skiing in all directions With 41 slopes and 24 lifts spread around the mountain of Gränjesvålen, the skiing will challenge both the family with children as well as the experienced skier. The cold is nipping at your nose and you can still feel the last few turns in your legs. Time for a fika? At the top of Gränjesvålen, 890 meters above sea level, you’ll find restaurant and café Utsikten. From here you’ll also have great views of Nipfjället, Städjan and “the sleeping queen” in Norway. Our 41 slopes are scattered around the whole mountain. HORSEBACK RIDING
Experience the mountain on horseback Be cool – go to school
Horseback riding and sledding through a crisp winter landscape is an unrivaled experience. From our stable we offer a wide range of tours, during both day and evening rides. If you don’t feel like letting go of your skis – try skijoring behind a horse for some fast-paced action. Kids, adults, experienced and beginners, all are welcome. Can you imagine the mountain embedded in snow and the compact silence only broken by the creaking sound of the horse’s hoofs in the snow?

Food for all tastes This year, you’ll find some exciting news when it comes to our restaurants. Renowned chef Melker Andersson’s restaurant Kött och Fiskbaren has moved in as well as our new sustainable hamburger place Understället. You can now choose from a great mix of cozy bars and lounges, traditional Swedish dishes, sustainable fast food, and top-notch restaurants to flavor your stay at Idre Fjäll. Many of the restaurants offer take away if you prefer to chill by the fireplace in your cottage.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
A winner in the long run Starting from the stadium there are several nice cross country skiing tracks. Choose the illuminated tracks for a night session or the longer tracks leading out on the mountain for a fullday adventure. Fun and games If you have energy left after a day on the slopes or just feel that your leg strength isn’t what it should be – visit our Activity Center. Gym, bowling, arcades and games, playroom, café, swimming pool, and sauna; all under one roof. The activity center also boasts a full-size gymnasium where you can play basketball, football, floorball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. Gear up for the mountain
At Ski rental Torget and Skicenter Syd you’ll find everything you need for an adventure in the mountains. Get the latest ski boots and well-prepared skis for a week. Or let us service and recondition your own equipment. We sharpen and wax your skis, adjust boots and bindings to make sure you have the best prerequisites for both safe and fun skiing. Needless to say, we also service your cross country skis for the best glide and grip in the tracks.
