Under the project ‘Introduction and Expansion of Improved Pigeonpea (Arhar) Production Technology in Rainfed Upland Ecosystem of Odisha’, the participants took part in a two-day training session every month from July 2013 to February 2014. The ‘season-long training’ followed the crop production cycle, and the participants’ feedback was collected in monthly reports and presented to ICRISAT’s Dr Myer G Mula, Training Coordinator and Principal Investigator of the project. Improved crop management was adopted during the production cycle.
