out there, we probably have something for it. Raven: We have designed clothing for ancient sims, Victorian, gothic, and urban. I don’t design for any specific theme--I have a love for all of it. Destany: Our main store is based around industrial steampunk although it is not a RP sim. A lot of our items are RP sim based items. A lot of people come to the sim and talk to us within the role-play style, which I totally love. It brings out more depth into the surrounding area and a better understanding to me. Ruin: What do you think makes Alternative Clothing so popular in SL? Darwin: Perhaps because secretly we admire the people who wear an extraordinary look in the real world. Fashion enables us to project our personality and speak directly without words and in SL we are free to do this without

whatever it is that constrains us in the real. Jeans and a T-shirt to me just say I have no imagination and even if I did I wouldn’t have the courage to do anything about it. blakopal: We really enjoy pushing ourselves to create new outfits. We’re always playing around with prim parts, and sculpting items to see how we can make an outfit just a little different. Pushing the technology, get the clothing to be just a bit more fabulous. We really love when people get excited to see us release new clothing. That means a lot to us. Not everything we come out with is a blockbuster, but now and then the design ideas will gel just right and something completely different will jump off the drawing board and start dancing around. Those are the moments we love. Bryce: SL is like no other medium for expression. The freedom available here allows individuals from all over the world to transcend the boring and embrace the fantastic.   | 112
