Boys Basketball For the first time in ICJA Boys Basketball history, the varsity team won the co-championship of the Chicago Prep Conference. This was led by our three all-conference players (most ever) Benny Albom, Micah Cohen, and Josh Goltz.

Ida Crown has been the dominant wrestling team over the course of a quarter century at Wittenberg competition.

Boys Wrestling The ICJA Wrestling team competed in its 25th Annual Henry Wittenberg National Yeshiva High School Invitational Wrestling Tournament at the Frisch School. ICJA is one of four schools to have participated in every Wittenberg since its inception. This was Coach Doug Klein’s 28th year coaching ICJA Wrestling as well as coaching ICJA through all 25 years competing in Wittenberg. Over that span, ICJA has won the team title eight times and claimed sixty-seven individual championships.

Get to Know Our Athletics Director Ms. Brittany Peters began her career at ICJA in 2016 as the Assistant Girls

Varsity Basketball and Soccer

Coach, both sports she has loved and excelled in since childhood. ICJA offered her the opportunity to take on a larger role within our athletics department this past year as the Athletics Director. Prior to working at ICJA, Ms. Peters received a college scholarship to play for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers' women's basketball team, followed by a season playing professionally in the WNBA for the Minnesota Lynx.

Fencing The Aces Fencing team had great improvement from the returning fencers and the very naturally talented freshmen! We competed against some of the strongest teams in Illinois. New Trier and Deerfield/Highland Park High Schools were challenged by our epee and foil teams. The strength of each squad was confidently led by upperclassmen in epee and experienced foil fencers. It was amazing to see the progress of the athletes, not only in their skill level, but in their responsibility to take on tasks and grow as the season went on.
