GENERAL DIRTT is multi-trade, prefabricated interior construction. This project is intended to be a combination of traditional framing and construction for small portions of the interior fit out, with the majority of the fit-out utilizing DIRTT’s manufactured interior construction. This project will include the following DIRTT components: walls, doors, modular electric, modular network, modular millwork, integrated ceiling tee system support. Please refer to the architectural framing plans and appropriate narrative for the scope of work that falls within the contractor’s work for the traditional fit-out. The DIRTT fit-out will be supplied & installed by DIRTT with the sub-contractor trades sequencing their work with the DIRTT supplier (DIRTT PARTNER NAME).
On behalf of DIRTT and our local DIRTT Partner, we are pleased to provide you with our proposal for professional Design Assist services. The service tasks and deliverables are limited to the Pre-Construction Project Phase up to an agreed upon scope and a final cost.
All wall finishes, apart from tile work, will come to the site pre-fabricated for installation. Any tile work that is called out in the Interior Design Narrative should assume that the tile sub-contractor will be responsible for supplying the tile, installing glass-mat, water resistant backing board in the DIRTT framed walls and installing and grouting the tile in a traditional installation method.
The cost to manufacture, deliver, install and close-out the project is under a separate sub-contractor agreement with the General Contractor.
BASIS OF DESIGN
DIRTT DESIGN ASSIST SCOPE DETAIL DESIGN ASSIST SERVICES AND DELIVERABLES BY PHASE PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES: Consultative Approach DIRTTs approach is a construction management method that improves quality, cost certainty and provides custom, clean rapid prefab construction solutions. The DIRTT team will act in the role of consultant and coordinate with the architect to transcribe their vision into DIRTT and assist with design & specification through the preconstruction portion of the project. The role will transition into a subcontractor as the implementation of the design is manufactured and installed. Preconstruction Services are outlined per a typical project phase below. Scope of work documents will also be provided for each trade affected on the project.

1) DIRTT Solid Wall Assemblies a) DIRTT wall assemblies incorporate aluminum framing segments with face mounted tiles. b) DIRTT Walls will include all necessary trim work and blocking c) DIRTT Frame Finish: Anodized Aluminum d) DIRTT Wall Finish: Painted MDF e) DIRTT Base Finish: Santoprene Base Trim, included. (Not required by flooring contractor) 2) DIRTT Glass Wall Assemblies a) Glass wall assemblies incorporate aluminum framing members and center mounted tempered glass b) DIRTT Walls will include all necessary trim work c) DIRTT Frame Finish: Anodized Aluminum d) DIRTT Glass: 6mm clear tempered glass e) DIRTT Base Finish: Santoprene Base Trim, included.
