Cold-Worked Shape Specific Strengthening
Litespeed takes the highest quality titanium and makes it better through innovative techniques in tube manipulation. It’s not just titanium. It’s Litespeed Titanium. All operations are performed in Litespeed’s own factory in Tennessee.
Litespeed develops innovative techniques to enhance titanium through cold-worked shape specific strengthening. Though the process is labor intensive, it is used for almost every tube in the frame in order to increase lateral stiffness and durability While competition may use softer, lower strength tubing to make frame building easier, Litespeed takes the time and care to build the highest quality frame possible regardless of the level of difficulty higher strength materials may impose.

Litespeed manipulates each tube’s wall thickness to create the world’s most precision cycling-specific tubesets. Manipulating different wall thickness within the same tube, refines the ride characteristic, frame weight, and overall performance to a degree that’s unparalleled by the competition.
Litespeed shaped tubes are designed to make each Litespeed frame higher performance by isolating frame flex in the desired amount and direction. Each Litespeed tube is crafted with attention to shape, dimension, weight, function and stiffness.
