Vicki Caplinger, Membership Services Team Member provides support and assistance to members and prospects of the IARFC. She manages all billing and receiving of renewals and applications, and performs many tasks such as shipping and handling store orders, mailing marketing material, and performing CE audits. As coordinator for the National Financial Plan Competition she enjoys seeing the next generation of financial consultants network with the experienced Association members.

Competition Comments The 2021 Plan Competition is history. My congratulations go out to those who participated and I hope they have found the experience to be worthwhile and have gained a passion for the financial consulting career as one of valuable service. It is sometimes and underrated career, but after having met so many consultants who are dedicated to achieving financial security for their clients, I have come to share Loren Dunton’s vision of a “noble calling”. My sincere hope is that the students have learned from this experience and will utilize lessons gained in their future interactions with clients.

Meanwhile, the process starts all over again. We are putting the finishing touches on the 2022 plan narrative and will have it ready for the distribution deadline. My wish is for all professors to sign on for 2022.

Where are the MRFC Exam Takers? There have been a number of Study Guides for the MRFC Exam sold. I am thinking it is almost time for those invested individuals to schedule their exam. Who’s In Charge? Finally, I need to give a particular thanks to Judi Nelson who will be taking over membership services temporarily. By May 1, I either will be on maternity leave or will be taking it soon. Baby Nolan is due early May so while I am away, she is in charge. Any membership questions or issued can be solved by her capable hands.
