At this juncture, let us find out what actions are taken so far by the backward countries to improve themselves and by the developed countries to provide help to the needy countries. Countries with low human development have started working to utilise global support. More than two dozen poor countries have prepared Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSPs) which provide the framework for financing implementing and monitoring such strategies.
