Good or bad timing? That is the question As we approach our 5th year anniversary we are proud to present our new Pendle Hill Properties magazine. The bringing together of our superb portfolio serves to illustrate just how far we have come as a company and why I feel we are so well placed to continue achieving our goal to continue to get and keep the local property market moving. Pendle Hill Properties was first discussed and planned late in 2008 with the idea being to open a small Sabden based estate agency that would complement my then current role as an Independent Financial/Mortgage advisor. Almost five years on and a significant expansion move to Read later, we have over 16 million pounds worth of property currently on our books and we successfully manage over 30 high quality rental properties, with an in-house team of mortgage/independent financial advisors and a full time lettings/sales manager all available to help. Some way different to my initial plans and maybe testament to how many referrals we receive from property owners and landlords regarding our services. When you sit back and take stock of what has happened during this time, not just in the property market, but also in the world economy, I draw inspiration from the fact that we have succeeded to grow and develop in the worst possible climate. To be where we are now we have had to show real desire, enthusiasm and dedication to beat the market conditions and with this in mind I genuinely believe that if there is a buyer out there we will, and do always find them, and likewise we find “quality tenants” for landlords on a regular basis. So when I look back and ask myself whether Pendle Hill Properties inception was “good or bad timing” I can honestly say the former. We have had to learn the hard way and moving forwards we will not forget the dedication required to ensure customers got, and continue to get, the service and results they require and need.
