New Siler City Center
To serve the ever-increasing educational needs of the residents of Siler City and the surrounding communities, CCCC has received funding from Chatham County to begin construction of a 23,500 sq ft building. The Siler City Center will be located in the Central Carolina Business Campus, just off of Highway 64 and across the road from the new Chatham Hospital. The facility will be equipped with a metal shop which will be outfitted with 6 welding stations. There will also be a well-equipped wood shop, two medical instruction rooms, a general science lab, two computer labs, and additional instructional/work space which will be in the outdoor courtyard – all visible from the “bridge” which is the main entrance to the new facility. With the increased interest in Adult Education, medical related, and job training classes, CCCC is focused on providing a space that will bring additional academic and job training classes to the Siler City area.
