I love being on stage in my home town and I’m really looking forward to performing at The Royal Court again.

EITHNE BROWNE A native of Liverpool, Eithne’s first appearance was on stage at the Liverpool Playhouse in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers. On its transfer to the West End Eithne took over from Barbara Dickson in the lead role for over 50 performances. Not bad for a first job! Perhaps best known on television for her role as Chrissy Rogers in Channel 4’s Brookside, she has appeared in: Mobile, Lillies, Cold Feet (Granada); The Royal, Emmerdale (YTV); Doctors, Stretford Wives, Clocking Off, Peace Keepers, Having it Off, the BAFTA awardwinning Room At The Top (BBC TV) and Secret State (BBC). A favourite panto performer Eithne has enjoyed dressing up as: Queen Rat in Dick Whittington (Floral Pavillion, New Brighton, Neptune Theatre, Liverpool, Theatre Royal, St.Helens); Baroness Hardup in Cinderella (Floral Pavillion, New Brighton); Fairy Bossyboots in Cinderalla (Forum Theatre, Billingham). She has also directed Carol Cullington’s hard-hitting play Connected, a community touring piece Eithne was voted Woman Of The Year at the 2013/14 Daily Post & Echo Arts & Culture Awards. She is also the voice of the world famous Mersey Ferry. Eithne is thrilled to be back on stage here at the Royal Court.

SUZANNE COLLINS Suzanne has worked professionally as an actress in the TV, Film and Theatre industry for almost 20 years. Her first T.V appearance was in Channel 4’s soap opera Brookside as much loved character ‘Nikki Shadwick’ During her career she has been successfully cast in numerous Television shows, Films and Theatre productions including comedy and demanding psychological drama roles for which she received considerable plaudits and acclaim. TV credits include: BBC’s Doctors, ITV1 The Bill, E4s That Band, ITV Wish You Were Here, SKY1 Celebrity Snatch, BBC Xchange, BBC Moving On. Theatre credits include: Brick Up The Mersey Tunnels, The Salon, A Fistfull Of Collars. Stags & Hens - The Remix, Educating Rita, Bully, 4 Girls & A Caravan, The Vagina Monologues, Catfish Therapy, Psychic Sybil, Down Our Street, A Night In The Theatre, Waiting For Gateaux. Film credits include: Charlie Noades RIP, Stepdad, Domino Requiem, Gun Culture, Be All & End All, Raspberry Ripple, Stained, Shinobi Code, Rejected Souls, Reds & Blues- The Ballad of Dixie & Kenny, Fifteen Minutes That Shook The World. Watch out for Suzanne’s performance in a feature film called ‘Softlad’ set in Liverpool, written and directed by Leon Lopez due to be released this summer. Suzanne is no stranger to radio, having presented and guested on many local radio stations as well as recording numerous commercial voiceovers. Every Saturday between 12pm - 2pm she has her own show on Wirral Radio 92.1FM and DAB called Suzanne’s Saturday’s. An ambassador for the city, Suzanne works tirelessly for many charities, modelling and hosting many events.
