We would also like to congratulate Pat & Nora Flynn, “Coolmohan” herd, on hosting an extremely impressive pure Friesian Open day. Their doing a great job getting some massive performances from their herd. A massive congratulations to Paul Murphy on being crowned European Junior young Breeder in Colmar. IHFA Open Day 6th July At the National Open Day Cork breeders had an extremely successful day with the following stockjudging results: U 18: 3rd Conor & Emer Lehane, Stephen Shannon. 18-26: 2nd Rachel White, Leslie Draper, Diarmuid Murphy. Macra under 23. 1st Edel O Connell, 2nd Siobhan Ring. Macra Senior . 1st Brian O Reilly. National Herds Competition 1st over 80 cow herd Rickey Barrett 1st Spring Calving Herd Denis Kiely 2nd Under 80 cow herd John O Callaghan. Well done to all. YMA Calf Show The YMA held their annual calf show on the 11th of July. Well done to the Yma on holding a great event. Its great to see the club getting stronger every year.
