① Mainly used for welding of 13%Cr STS(403, 410). ② Used typical applications include hydrocrackers, reaction vessels and distillation plants. ③ Suitable for Alloy 403 (X6 Cr13), 405 (X6 CrAl13, X10 Cr13, X20 Cr13, X15 Cr13).

Characteristics ① As the weld metal contains martensite, SM, ST-410 has high hardness, good abrasion-resistance. on usage ② the corrosion resistibility and intergranular corrosion resistibility are extremely good. ③ Preheat of 150~250℃ is required for heavier sections. Following welding, components should be cooled to room temperature before PWHT. Weld metal and HAZ's have poor ductility and toughness in the as-welded condition, careful handling is recommended prior to PWHT to minimise physical shock.

① Multi-layer welding of various kinds structure such as ship buildings, offshore structures, machinery, pressure vessels and heavy wall steel pipes.

Characteristics ① An agglomerated fluoride-basic flux suitable for welded joints on high-tensile, fine-grained steels. on usage ② Tandem, multi-electrode welding can be performed owing to insensitivity to rust, scale, primer on the surface to be welded, has excellent X-ray characteristics and slag removal.

Notes on usage ① Dry the flux at 300~350℃ for 60 minutes before use.

② When the flux height is excessive, poor bead appearance may occur. ③ Use welding current and speed as low as possible at the first layer of groove to avoid cracking. ④ Remove rust, scales, oil, paint, water, dirt and slag of tack welds from the groove to obtain sound weld metal.
