Roundtable Discussion A discussion on the arts and economy

Hi. We're so glad you're here. Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut

Thank you FOR BEING PART OF THE CONVERSATION... AND FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

From the President WESTERN CONNECTICUT IS FERTILE GROUND FOR CREATIVITY Thank you for joining this important conversation on investing in the arts. From Charles Ives, through Marian Anderson to Maurice Sendak, Western CT continues to be fertile ground for creativity. Over the past 20 years we have seen the arts become an important component of life in our towns. American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding provides our elected representatives the opportunity to invest in the art organizations and artists that create jobs by exciting people to visit our venues, eat at our restaurants and shop at our stores. 1% or more of ARP funding designated to the arts expands our regional economy and benefits us all.

Lew Lew Wallace, President Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut
