VOLUNTEERS WANTED IN BROMYARD AREA May 2011 These are just a selection of over 500 different volunteering opportunities throughout Herefordshire. Drivers Wanted Volunteer drivers with own cars needed to take elderly or infirm people to the doctors, dentist and hospital or for shopping, visiting the library and relatives etc. Mileage allowance paid. Even a few odd hours now and again would make a great difference.

OFFICE HELP WANTED A community association in the south of the city needs help in its office with telephone and reception work and taking bookings. Help also required for community events with setting up, refreshments etc.
KNOW HEREFORD? Assist in a busy shop in Hereford with signposting and giving out information to visitors to the county. The volunteer will need local knowledge of the area and have good customer care skills.
WANT TO KEEP FIT? Then run the tower tours at Hereford Cathedral and accompany visitors up and down the 218 steps. Even if you could spare just a few days a year, that would be very welcome.
