Prato is located in the Tuscany region of Italy. The government plans to relocate the hospital next to the old city wall to the outside of the old city. Anpin Garden is located in Nanjing, the Anpin Street plot, which is the focal point of the revival of the old city south, the design team not only needs to consider the design and living experience, but also must consider the design in terms of historical background, urban style and other aspects. Shenzhen Wanke YunCheng B Zone, Shenzhen

The Vanke Liuxiandong plot is located in the central green area of the city. Due to the limitation of greening rate and building height, most of the building volume is underground. In this studio we researched and developed the application of the concept of Chinese traditional gardens in high-rise housing design. We try to develop our project in Su Zhou. We found that pavilions, corridors, yards, trees, and pools are a series of core elements in gardens. Qianhai Harbor School is located in the Shenzhen. It is a high-standard public nine-year school with a consistent system. Since 2013, the consolidation of the original villages to form new central villages has become a major government strategy for the rural urbanization movement in Mainland. Located in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, the Vientiane City Complex will officially open in 2022, and will provide Kunming citizens with a new social and leisure lifestyle. This case consists of a 150m saleable apartment tower, a 250m self-contained hotel and office tower, and a seven-story podium commercial commercial complex. The Fairy Mountain Hotel is located in Chongqing. The main structure has been completed, and Benoy has carried out structural transformation and facade design. Zhongtian Exhibition Renovation Retail, Guiyang

The exhibition center retail is located in the center of Guiyang, which belongs to the Zhongtian UARCHINA. It has been built for ten years and has not been used. Benoy is responsible for the renovation, and the scope of renovation includes the facade and plan. The OCT Science Park Complex Competition is located in Guangming District, Shenzhen, with a total area of 217,000 ​​ square meters, including two towers of 150m and 250m, including hotels, offices, commerce, bookstores and other program. The Global Exchange Complex is an important construction project of Hong Kong Land's layout in Chengdu, Sichuan. The complex consists of a 100m saleable office tower, a 200m self-supporting office tower and a podium business. MIX-TREE CONCEPT

We extracted the all-encompassing concept from MIX City, and around the concept of MIX, we set up festured areas and program with different themes at different heights and areas of the mall. Such as Mix-Beauty, Mix-Fashion, Mix-Fresh.... 我们从万象城中提取包罗万象的概念,围绕 MIX 这一个概念在商场的不同高度和不同区域设置不同主题的特色区域与业态。

We set up a vertical island in the main atrium of the mix-city and dated the highlight of MIX-TREE. MIX-TREE is the refinement and sublimation of the MIX concept of shopping malls. Through this mini island-style vertical program complex, it embodies different activities and crowds at different heights. The island design is easy to make the display of the shop unevenly block each other. The interlaced boxes can avoid the problem of occlusion of sight to the greatest extent, and the shops on the third, high, and low floors can get a relatively uniform display during the process of customer travel. The Guiyang Exhibition Retail is located in the city center of ​​Guiyang. It has five floors and has been idle for ten years. The 400m super long facades of buildings along the street and the traffic interference of the main urban roads make the pedestrian experience on the ground floor terrible and daunting, which means that the traditional design method of setting up commercial windows on the first floor is inefficient and difficult to succeed.

Then how to transform this disadvantage into the commercial characteristics of the project and ultimately enhance the commercial value along the street has become the design focus of this case. 18

The Main concept is to create a sky walkway which full of change and vitality. This new walkway starts from the north main entrance and gradually rises to the third floor to connect to the main atrium inside the mall, and finally connects to the fifth-floor IMAX cinema. 本案核心设计概念是塑造一条富有变化与活力的立体城市漫步动线 - 天阶。这条新的城市漫步动线,于首层商场北侧主入口处起步,逐步抬升至 三层连接商场内部主中庭,并最终连接至五层 IMAX 巨幕影院,形成了一条半室外城市公共动线。 19

WALK IN THE CLOUDS

This lively sky walkway is open to all citzen. Everyone can sit on the stairs to enjoy food and drink, and can also go inside anytime. The shining glass boxes that emerge on the walkway reserve sufficient commercial display areas for the flagship store, and the semi-outdoor spaces around it provide the possibility for a variety of public activities. This unique shopping experience attracts everyone and stimulates the retail on each floors. 21

We carefully confirmed and studied the existing slab edges and structure on every floor, adjusted the retail layout and depth of the store under limited movement, and designed some characteristic spaces and kiosks around the atrium. We corresponded the retail plan with the redesigned facade to form a consistent spatial experience. 22

This case revolves around the concept of WE City. In addition to traditional supermarkets, shops, restaurants, new formats such as SPACE bars, bookstores, night running parks, etc. So that shopping malls can provide a variety of experiences for different customer groups in the city 24 hours a day . The position of the original skylight that we moved was integrated into the curtain wall to form a simple whole. The curtain wall is bent vertically from the roof to form three skylights of different heights, which enhances the sense of enclosure of the roof square.


BOOKSTORE BRIDGE: CEILING DESIGN

The design of the bottom of the bridge continues the concept of flow, extending the vertical curtain element to the bottom. The material of the bottom is perforated aluminum panel, and the dynamic effect is formed through the change of the porosity and height of the aluminum plate. At the same time, the aluminum plates with varying heights also connect the entrances of the left and right shopping malls. 28

We designed two kinds of facades for the sky food street, which were set on the inside and outside of the food street. Inside, a wood-colored aluminum mullion creates a warm atmosphere, while the angle distribution of the aluminum mullion creates a distinctive facade effect. The outer side maintains the simplicity of the façade through colored glazed glass, while continuing the characteristic patterns inside. 33

We control the facade of the food street in accordance with the requirements of the commercial management department. The storefront below the control line uses a simple glass division to facilitate the store's secondary decoration. Due to the building codes, the fire door on the first floor and the large amount of backpanel glass on the first and second floors is difficult to achieve the transparent storefront. So We designed fritted glass with characteristic patterns and combined the advertisement with the fire door. 由于最新建筑规范的要求,首层消防门开启对立面产生较大影响,且首二层大量背板玻璃难以实现前期设计中通透店面的展示效果。我们在首层 设计了特色图案彩釉玻璃,并将广告与消防门结合设计。商场的首二层从而拥有较好的商业氛围。 35

SUNKEN PLAZA DESIGN

Since the sinking square is located directly under the city road, the lighting and the height of the underground layer are greatly restricted. In this case, the semi-indoor design style is used instead of the traditional outdoor sunken square design, and the scale is more humanize. The use of light brown, warm gray, smooth curves and lights also weakened the depressed atmosphere underground. 由于下沉广场位于城市道路正下 方,采光与地下一层层高受到极 大限制。本案采用半室内的设计 风格代替传统室外下沉广场的设 计,减弱了地下的压抑氛围。 37

The pedestrian bridge on the north side of the building is an easily overlooked source of passenger flow, which becomes important because of the direct connection to the residential area on the north side. Between SD and DD stage, we classified the different types curtain walls of the building facade. Different materials and different handover methods are classified and organized, and the colors and types of materials are also formulated. This is convenient for the next step to carry out design deepening and mock-up design. At the same time, it is also convenient to have an overall control of the cost of the facade. 44

We selected nineteen nodes at different locations from various parts of the podium and tower. These nodes can cover most curtain wall practices of this project. Then we put these nodes together into a small box, making a one-to-one comparison, and preparing for construction to become a reference for future construction. 47
